Suzi,it seems a lot of the wrong info for Into The Sun has now been put right.

Things that have changed:a producer for the other Yakuza film(now removed);a writers credit(now removed);new places for filming have been added;a correct premise for the film added;correct title!;and new director.I'm sure we'll hear word on additional cast members soon.

Mink????..I dont know about you guys but I'd like to know where Seagal is finding these unknown directors..Sounds like the budget for "Into the Sun" is dropping daily and its beginning to look like another STV movie..I guess it wont be long before Corey Yuen and Donny Yen are dropped from the credits..
I mean Russell Wong was listed in Belly of the Beast and was nowhere in the film..
At best this will only be another Half Past Dead from the looks and sound of it.

Half Past Dead ?

I don't know about you MIKE (?!), but 1/2 Past Dead went to theatres, unlike latest Seagal movies and that movie was much better than either the Foreigner or Out For a Kill. So if Seagal makes another "Half Past Dead" I would be more than happy to go watch, and then buy a copy of the movie.

I agree half past dead was'nt as bad as it was publicized to be..I liked it better than his last few as well..I was comparing Into the Sun to HPD because of the director who it looks like, is another music director similar to the guy from HPD. I guess they want to give it that MTV look or something similar to some of the shots from HPD. I just hope its not given a PG-13 rating like HPD

oblowitz is also making a british film with seagal soon called glory so that will be another dud film.....i have high hopes for out of reach and into the sun

Perhaps there's movement on the Into the Sun front because Steven's supposed to film that right after Out of Reach and Submerged is now supposed to start filming June 1st. That leaves him little time to get Sun into the can.

I also noticed another producer, a Franchise exec, has now been added to Sun's credits, perhaps to get things going?
