Out For a Kill

Out For a Kill looks like the best action and fighting movie Steven has made since Exit Wounds, and great to see him applying more Aikido once again. Many more fight scenes, and really great ones, love the sword fighting scene, great to see that again. Steven hasn't done as many aikido moves recently in his movies. Can't wait to watch this one, should have been released at the cinema. However, big things are coming with The Yakuza with Warner Bros. Steven is still the best and I will forever follow him. Well done Steven. Does anyone know when Out For a Kill is released in the US.

come get some
I agree there are plenty of Aikido throws in there, but he's also mixing in some other styles... I love that sword flourish he does near the start of the trailer- now there is a martial artist who KNOWs how to handle a blade (unlike some of the wannabe Matrix/Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon actors who would probably hurt themselves if they didn't have fight choreographers to train them)

also, is it just me or does he seem to have lost a bit of weight in this trailer?

Steven looks great in the trailer, and I agree that the sword fighting is the best you would see from anyone. You can tell Steven has trained in sword fighting for ages.

No - looking at the trailer I'd say he was at least as big as he was in The Foreigner, maybe even a little heavier. But he's not being coy about it, this time round, proving he's still got the moves, regardless of size.

I have to confess that while I am worried about the rest of the film, that sword fight alone is probably going to be worth the price of the dvd. I just hope they haven't actually shown *all* of it in the trailer.

Talk about your low budget film, though - I think he supplied his own wardrobe! Haven't we seen that silk jacket before?

Hi.......
been gone a bit...the ole' PC reformat from scratch bit..which isn't bad in itself..but putting all the programs back on it from bunch of CD backups was nuts.....lol
anyway.....glad to see someone found the OFAK trailer...Uh the above address won't lead anywhere if you look at it closely..there's 2 extra "//" in it......that's not the initial address I saw either....there's 2 floatin' around as far as I see here....one at "videopipeline" the other at "videodetective'......the VD one is broken up and I couldn't really find all the pices of the exact video files address.....but the videopipline one is direct....doesn't even have a copy control set on it....I just got it the other day and unless Suzi already beat me to it......there's some pretty cool stills you can pull out of the trailer.....
Who the heck is that guy running along the walls in the washroon fight??????geeeeeezzzzzz
But yeah...it's good to see Seagal using the sword & boken techniques in the final battle.....but man..if you watch it slowly ..they kinda gave us the whole movie right there....we see exactly how his wife is killed.him getting arrested, sent to prison...then tracking down the drug lord and climaxing with the battle with him...and they even show the final blow doing the guy in....not sure if I needed to see all that now.....tho I was one of the ones asking about it....
good to be popping back in......will pull some still images out for Suzi to post in the gallery (if that's working..I havent been here in awhile and was having trouble logging in a few times when I did stop by)

What other movie is this mystery jacket from then?

Maybe he likes this jacket! I tend to like his clothes a lot....

Obviously I am not looking at his clothes, but at his wonderful face....:)

I must say the trailer did not view so good for me...I guess I will try it again...

The blue jacket? For me the trailer is sooo blurry, but even blurry is exciting, LOL...What a man...;)
The movie looks like it's going to be really good...:D

The brown silk jacket in the sword fight scene - there's pictures of him all over the gallery wearing it - or one very like it - to events.

Yes, this was what I was saying when I viewed the trailer - there's too much in the trailer, and when they do something like that, it's usually because they've put only the very best bits in the trailer, and the rest of the film... well.

We can but hope.

And welcome back, John! I was wondering where you'd disappeared to!
