Hi Suzi

Hi Suzi,
Do you think you or anyone else on here would be willing to record and send me Out for Justice on TBS when it screens? I saw it there while on vacation recently and am dying to see those extra scenes again! I would gladly send some money over in return for it if you or anyone else is willing. Same goes for Glimmer Man when it screens as I'd love to see those extra scenes too!
All the best
Steve :)

There's extra scenes in Out for Justice? Come to think of it, there just might be - because TBS has probably chopped the fight scenes all to hell, so in order to make up the running time, they'll have to put in extra scenes, like they did in Glimmer Man.

It'll be interesting to see what they cut out.

steve, I would tape it for you but my VCR is basically kaput right now. But don't worry, these TV versions show literally all the time.

Out for Justice has two extra "padding" scenes, both involving William Forsythe. You can tell that they were filmed later than the rest of the film, they just seem very tacked on and would not have fit well with the proper theatrical release. Good to have if you're a completist.

The Glimmer Man scenes are better, and actually add to the movie. Plus, they've got Seagal in them, so that makes them more a must see. If I remember correctly, the scenes are side by side (one after the other), so often people confuse them for one big scene.

Well, they recently showed Exit Wounds on City TV here in Toronto, on a Friday night starting at 9 p.m., so there was no bleeping at all - BUT - whoever was running the tape was either a newbie or snorting coke because there were some scenes shown twice and others not shown at all (because the running time had to end precisely at 11 p.m. for the news) and others shown out of order.... how the heck do they accomplish that feat, I wonder?

However!

I have the DVD and now that I have a proper DVD player, I can watch it whenever at my leisure. But it is fun when Steven's movies are shown on broadcast tv!

Hi, Steve.

If you've had no response yet, I'd be glad to record the movie for you and mail it. Don't worry about the money. I have several new, good quality tapes and postage shouldn't be too much. However, are you sure our tapes will work in your VCR? I don't know much about this sort of thing, but I understand there's a difference in tapes between "regions". If you think it will work, then PM me with your contact info and we'll work out the details.

Serena.

if steve is in the UK, he should have no problem playing tapes from here because most modern VCRs over there have the ability to play both PAL and NTSC. I used to have one myself.

And Lotus, I doubt Exit Wounds will have any extra scenes in the TV version. It was an expensive Joel Silver movie, and he's not the kind of person who shoots extra TV scenes.

Have you thought of getting your own place? You could watch what you like then.

Looks like it's the all Steven Seagal day on TBS - I turned on the TV at 3:30 and lo! Above the Law was also on TBS. So far, I think I've spotted one extra scene in it, but I can't be certain until I compare it with me DVD.

Stupid me, no tape in the VCR. Arrrggghhh!

I can't wait to see how much gets bleeped out of the closing credits.

Oh it was hilarious... as soon as Tom Arnold and Anthony Anderson started talking, they basically turned the dialogue off and the music right up. Great fun if you're a lipreader. :)

I never really liked the movie with that Crack guy, stupid movie...other than the begining...

Now the Patriot (which was also played today, saturday) I like very much.
And Exit Wounds is one of the best ones, Steve appeared to be in uber good shape. I didn't see an third wheel, so what happened in such a short time?!?!
Yea TBS is not he SuperStation, it's the StupidStation....the last scene with the credits was the best!
I pitty amerikan television viewers because conservs are in power down there.
They edit the hell out of everything!
Thirteen year olds down there have to break the law to see boobs!
lol

It was definitely the "all Steven Seagal show" on TBS yesterday - not only did they run Above the Law, Out for Justice and Exit Wounds, they did an "instant replay" of Exit Wounds and followed that with Fire Down Below.

And I just turned the tv on today, Sunday, and lo! They're running ATL again!

The "bleep" words they use to substitute are priceless. Zagon calling someone a "pretzel" instead of a "prick" is absolutely hilarious.

I agree TD, the word they use are laughable, and really it ruins everything...
I don't see how they can say a** but the word sh** is out of the question...
And stuff like 'scum magnet' just doesn't quite suffice, it loses too much of it's impact...
LOL...:D
I like the rough, no holds barred Seagal, that's what's so exciting about his movies...
That and his fighting, which is totally awesome...
He gives me such a powerful feelings of wild and yessssss, dare I say, even shameless feelings of utter thrill, know what I'm saying? hehehehe, I know all you girls out there probably do, eh? He's just exciting, oh what a man! ;) :D ;)
