Parker starring Jason Statham

Last week I watched Jason Statham's new film Parker starring Jennifer Lopez, Nick Nolte and Michael Chiklis. Although not one of Statham's best the film was fun with a good mix of action and suspense. The Florida locations looked lush and Statham had some great action and fightscenes. Jennifer Lopez was also good with her character being different from what I've seen her do before or what I was expecting from her. Also at 43 she still looks great!



Overall I enjoyed the film and would recommend it to action fans. I can't wait for Statham's next film Hummingbird which is due for release in May. With his martial arts background and with over a decade of making action films I see him very much as the heir to Seagal and the other action stars of the 80s and 90s.

Stratham has a lot of bashing on other sites, but i personally like the majority of his movies with the exception of The Transporter 3. Not sure what martial arts background is though?

You're right there Statham does get a lot of bashing but I really like him and his movies. In the last 10 years he's made consistently solid and enjoyable action films and in terms of Bristish stars in Hollywood he's up there with the best of them (his films have grossed over $1bn). What didn't you enjoy about Transporter 3? Personally I loved it, thought Robert Knepper was really good as the bad guy and the girl was really cute too. I also thought it was an improvement on the 2nd film. As I understand it Statham has trained in a number of martial arts both before his career started and for various roles he's done.

Nah I haven't seem the TV series, has it started showing over here yet? I've read some positive feedback about the series though confusingly I was reading on Wikipedia how in every country it's been shown, they've broadcast the episodes in a different order!

I must admit i do like this actor ...havent seen many of his movies but iam sure i will ...wish him the best ..
