Movies Pictures From the "Belly of the Beast" !!! and good news !!

I received from my friend in Thailand. He sent two picture from the movie "BOTB". One of them is from the set. The other one from the final scenes. but we are sorry these pics without Seagal !!

i am in two minds over this film and stunt doubles.....are the stunts for fighting or things like car crashes?
it says seagal as still got it that to me means that seagal may do all his own fighting but have stunt man doing other things.i want him to do warner brothers films yakuza and rescue because warner will make seagal do more work like in exit wounds.

It seems anymore that as an actor gets along in years they are basically used in movies for their name. To attract people to go see the movie,even if that person is in it only for a minute or does nothing in the movie but appear basically.
As everyone can admit-as we get older we mend slower,so an actor whose livelyhood is on making movies-they don't want to take a chance on getting hurt so badly that they can not make movies. However,there are a lot of actors out there that are still right out there doing their own stunts & taking chances,because they are in better shape/health than Seagal for example.

That is a bit of an ambiguous quote, as it is saying that although Seagal has still got it when it comes to fighting, he is not quite so nimble and stunt doubles are used (I presume for acrobatic scenes). So what? All actors use stunt doubles, as it is rare for an actor to be insured to perform dangerous stunts. You only have to watch the Paris taxi chase scene in 'A View To A Kill' to see this - the stunt double looks nothing like Roger Moore! In the likes of Half Past Dead for example, there was no way Seagal did any of the jumps etc., but at least the stunt double looked like him.

I am not talking about dangerous stunts. Seagal uses a stunt double for EVERYTHING other than scenes that SHOW HIS FACE DIRECTLY. In other words, any scenes of him fighting from the side, back, from afar, etc... are not him. Seagal himself doing the fight scenes made them unique, now he doesn't even do that. And hell, he ain't got that acting thing going for him, either.

In HPD he even had a double for him walking down the street, and in The Foreigner they had one for him just doing a quick little jump over a fence. In HPD, the two fight scenes he had, you were able to see it was only him doing his "patty cake" fight scenes with a close-up of his face, then a double for ALL other fighting. This you can see with freeze frame and slow motion in the DVD.

When Seagal is in shape, not only is his performance energized, but he can do more of his own fighting, and then his fighting gets back to being like in the old days. You just need to look as recent as Exit Wounds, when he was thinner, and compare them to The Foreigner and HPD.

Yes, I agree with Justice, unless we are a more accomplished actor, or aikidoist then we really shouldn't critisize the man...I think he is wonderful, and I think he and I should have a meeting of the minds and maybe we can work off some of it together, know what I'm saying? heh...
