Recommended Reading: Seagalogy by Vern

I strongly recommend this book to all you fellow Seagal enthusiasts out there. It goes over, reviews, and provides insights into all of Seagal's movies into the late 00's, breaking down Seagal's career by eras. Each review is filled with tidbits of information that even I wasn't aware of, and they're all wittily written. I'd highly recommend the book to you guys as a sort of companion to each Seagal movie you watch.

I assume Seagal at least knows about Seagalogy by Vern, but I wonder if he's read it? Has anyone heard if he has read it, and if so, what he thought of it? I'd hope he would at least be somewhat amused by it all.

Keep that question for a possible future interview with him!

Thanks for the heads up on Seagalology, I just ordered a copy. What movie does the updated edition go up to?
The Expanded Edition adds chapters on his movies after Pistol Whipped through some of his True Justice "2 episodes combined to make 1 movie" efforts. I believe Dark Vengeance is the last title added to the Expanded Edition.

Thanks mate. Watched (pretty much) all of his movies once over the last 7 years, in random order, and just started watching them for the second time, in release order. The book should just add to the fun!

Oh yeah, the book is pretty fun. Insightful. And adoring of Seagal. It's cool to watch a movie, then read the chapter after. You really get to see some of his work in a new light.

My copy of The Way of The Shadow Wolves finally arrived. Will start it on Tuesday and give you guys my first impressions on Friday or Saturday. Quickly skimming it, I think this should be good reading. You can definitely see Seagal's imprint on the book.
