I've seen the entire movie and it could have easily been called SEAGAL VERSUS THE VAMPIRES as the drug using guys look and act like the vampires from Underworld.
Also, the fights are PATHETIC. I mean there is a fight scene between Seagal and the main MALE bad guy Aroon and basically Seagal does nothing, sits there and when the bad guy has his back to Seagal, he stabs him. I mean, WTF?????
Also, the best fight scene in the movie does not even involve Seagal, it's the one near the end in which his friend ( I think the character is called Dwayne) fights two guys and there is fire involved. That was a cool fight scene.
What does Seagal get ? A fight scene with a skkinny woman who is wearing a short skirt and a blouse that almost reveals her breasts. And the worst thing is that that thin woman is played by Ileana Lazariuc, a Romanian so-called star that is on the level of Paris Hilton stupidity as she was trashed in the press for being a drug user. She has also appeared in Playboy where we got the chance to see her naked a couple of years ago.
Yes people, Seagal fights a drug using former Playboy model.
Also, what does Seagal do for 90% of that fight? He has a really stupid look on his face and all he does is slap the drug using former Playboy model. No cool moves, no nothing.
And that woman can't move at all like a martial artist. She is a MODEL dammit not a martial artist so why would they pick her for the role???
Also, the entire movie is really, really, really boring. It LOOKS nice, but it's boring. And those last 20 minutes of action that we've been promised by the DVDReview review? They are not there! It's only really about 10 minutes or so and most of the action DOES NOT INVOLVE SEAGAL!!! Not to mention the fact that although they have a nice location they spend almost 20 minutes going around in circles. They pretend like it's different rooms, etc, etc,etc but basically they have 2-3 rooms which they repeat on and on.
Despite the fact that it's a lot more logical than ALL of his DTV movies, despite the fact that it LOOKS great (sometimes amazing) and despite the fact that Seagal FIGHTS himself, I call this his worst DTV yet simply because it's a really stupid movie even with all the story changes. The fights suck (Seagal and a Playboy model bitchslapping each other, woohoo), the story sucks (drug users that turn into supermen and want to take over a city and turn everybody into zombies like they are), the ending sucks (the movie just ends), the acting is horrible (all Seagal does is kill people and then turn around and walk away), add the fact that it's not even Seagal or any of the other actors' voices for over 50% of the movie and that Seagal is getting too fat to even walk on screen...damn, this is a sad, pathetic excuse for a movie.
Some nice visuals and an ok soundtrack can't save this movie from being a COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME!!!
Want to see a real action movie that has a great script, great acting, amazing action, amazing fights, cool stunts and a story that makes sense, is suspensful and will leave you wanting more? GO SEE Casino Royale at the cinema.

well the voive DUBBING is of steven is very BAD,and when he's fighting one of the girls ,here chest on the left is bloody and than you look for a minute and than you see it's on the right site of here chest.

I should watch and post my review tomorrow sometime but I'm pretty sure I'll hate it. Seagal is understandebly not going to work with the last few producers he has done, seeing as they've butchered his films. TYD, MFJ, SM all had severe script problems and were shifted significantly in post production. Essentially with his last few films (not so much SM) the finished product has ended up quite different from what was inititially shot, hence we have dubbing, stock footage etc, and illogical and poorly constructed plotlines.
To be honest I think it's no surprise at all that it's gone quiet in the Seagal movie front. I'm quite sure he WON'T do another film quite as poorly delivered as his last half dozen (I'm not including his next one FOF in this, because it's been shot and promises more problems). It boils down to poor production and a lack of respect for the audience on the producers part. POP may get made, but only if Seagal manages to get it finanaced by a better company or producer, with a better ethic.
From what I gather with AF and understand of the b-movie, DTV world. The producers had a movie pitch they sold to a distributer called Harvester with an Alien plot line. Somewhere they shot the movie, changing the whole script practically and shooting an entirely different type of movie. They got a first cut back, hated it, and then proceeded to re-dub large chunks, and add stock footage to change the plot further. You might call it the domino effect where they had a bad idea, and in trying to improve, and then improve again, they've ended up doing the opposite. As such the final product ends up an incoherant mess, far worse than it may originally have turned out. This is something that's often happened in the DTV action world. Understandebly our buddy Joe Halpin has been quick to dissaciate his scripting from the last couple of films he's been credited on, as his work has been hacked and altered so much.
Also I can garauntee you that FOF will be even worse. If there's one type of movie, garaunteed to blow more than any other in the DTV action world, it's one that's written around stock footage. This is something most associated with Michael Dudikoff (FOF is a re-write of one of his movies).
I do believe these two latest Seagal films will be the final straw for Stevo. If he can't get finance for POP, he'll probably call it a day. But thankfully I don't see him starting up production on another film he knows will end up so lame.

Attack Force - great stuff
1 case: Script
Well the scrip was changed a few times but i think it's pure and simple. I like it fo it's darkness and simple stuff. Some dialogues were not supposed to be there but they put them for no reason.
2 case: Dubbing
It's so sad that the dubbing of Steven voice tak over a 95 % of the movie, and they change a guy that made it. Very ugly thing and this is the only thing that make this movie not so good as it is.
3 case: The Darkness
I liked the darkness in this title so much. It was something like in THE GLIMMER MAN. The "monster" stuff make this movie strange and different from what our Steven made this far. Cool thing. I like his clothes thah put more darknes in the movie.
4 case: Music
Great stuff that makes me think there will be better next time. After the thing in Shadowman I hope there will be only better in music thing.
5 case: FIGHTS !!!
Not much, not too much. I like it. Seagal make them all and make them good. Smooth moves and nice perfomed by him. Many gunfights.
As for the spin kick in the trailer, it's made by another character NOT STEVEN character
6 case: Final battle
Great stuff. For the first time from Belly of the Beast it was something diferent and well made. Superb castle scenes like in the vampire movies. COOL !!!
7 case: Summary
After Shadowman and Attack Force I can't wait fo Flight of Fury. If they pu so much effort and don't change script and things that Seagal and Halpin made it could be better than this.
As for the DVD cover, It's a shame becouse there is nothing from the movie in it exept Steven. I will made my simple vision of the cover and put it on the forum soon.

Attack Force has a horrendous title, and can almost certainly be judged by it’s awful cover, because the film is horrible! A mish-mash of plotlines, a choppy mess, and a horribly stagnated pace, make the film hard to watch start to finish. I managed this and I’m proud. As a fan of Seagal’s work (mostly of his old days), it’s painful to see him star in such tripe. True Seagal’s last half dozen movies or so, have sucked a lot, but some of them at least had some redeeming features. Attack Force is a mess. From conception to delivery this film has undergone many changes, from an alien plotline, to the current one about a highly addictive super drug, about to be unleashed on the Romanian (the film has several settings, none of which are Romanian, but all look like Romania because they are in Romania!) populace. The film is tacked together with little regard for whatever state the original shooting script was. Plot-holes and loose ends are abound in the film that’s for sure. That’s been a problem in Seagal’s last few films as well, but never has the result been so boring. There’s a whole plotline about the water supply being poisoned with CTX (that’s the drugs cool name) that is never resolved!
Of course in recent years the plot’s haven’t been the main draw in the Seagal canon so there was a big onus on the other departments, especially the action. Before I regard the action though, all the other departments are poor. The direction is poor, or perhaps better put, made to look poor. Who knows how director Michael Keusch originally intended this film? Between him finishing his job, the re-shoots by stunt man Tom Delmar, and the editing, a coherent auteur vision is completely lost. The best way to describe the film is that it’s just all over the shop! The cinematography is dull, nearly inducing sleep, while the droning score (sounding like it was produced on the cheapest of cheap synthesizers) does nothing to excite matters. The cast too are poor, unable to salvage anything here. Seagal looks bored beyond recognition, and is dubbed through much of the picture, clearly when plot-points are being changed. He looks tired and overweight, and lethargic, unlike he’s looked in previous pictures too (remarkable as the aforementioned have been key complaints in Seagal’s recent pictures). The only redeemable cast member is Adam Croasdell as one of the villains, doing a slimy Brit routine. He seems to be a throwback to the alien plotline, because he’s playing it inhuman. He seems like a cross between a body snatcher and a vampire (ditto to the lead villain played by some hot chick who appears on occasion, seemingly waiting for her husband… Dracula).
Finally the action. Well it’s poor. Poorly conceived, poorly shot. There’s not much either, and there’s even less featuring Seagal. Stevo doesn’t really bring out the stunt double here, because there’s so little to do. There’s even a lengthy (repetitive and boring) action scene on the hour mark that inter-cuts occasionally with little flashes of Seagal’s stand in because clearly Seagal wasn’t there while the scene was being shot, and they wanted to have him feature in the action scene. Seagal eventually appears in person to shoot two guys in the head. Seagal has a producers credit here and a script credit, but from what I understand the film has been altered behind his back to the current state it’s in. Seagal will apparently not be working with these people again, or with Castel Studio’s who continue to deliver horrifically sub-Nu-Image (that‘s saying something), material.
Overall this is one to avoid if you are not a Seagal fan. Seagal fans can also be safe in the knowledge that the big man probably won’t want to do anything this bad again. Unfortunately his next film which has already been shot, with the same people, promises to be even worse than this. *

God are we still on about his bloody weight get over it ...An TRUE fan would watch his movies regardless so what he might make an few non-winners he isnt the first actor or last actor thats going to stuff up as for his music well i wont ever see him in concert but i do have both his cd's and when iam feeling like i need to here his voice i play them ...he will always be steven seagal to me and i will always support him by watching his movies..so lay off him eh?..and thats the way i feel..
