Hilarious, at minute 2:19 he said "but I´m unique, you know what I´m saying.

This "You know what I´m saying" came with the same accent as he did as Gino in "Out for Justice". Keep in mind that "Out for Justice" just came out at the time and grossed 11 million dollars on the first weekend. It was his second number 1 hit after "Marked for Death".

"Seagal's work was considered so bad that SNL censored the episode when it offered the 1990 season via streaming on Netflix. However, in recent years Lorne Michaels has let up a bit on the disaster. In a recent interview when Michaels had been asked about banned performers, the reason for Seagal's ban had come up. Lorne admitted that he did not feel it was fully Seagal's fault, noticing a general lack of focus among the crew and cast, in essence "that was a week where nothing was going right; an off week in all".

Yeah, we all know that Seagal is a crazy character. During the show he told Dana Carvey: I wish Arnold were hear, so I can beat him up. He only said that because Carvey and Kevin Nealon made fun of Seagal´s "baby arms" in comparison to Arnold´s.

Of course, the whole sketch was funny but Seagal took it seriously.

I watched the SNL sketches earlier this year I think, someone on here kindly sent me a link. Man, they're pretty awkward to watch at times and you can hear a pin drop at others! Still, got to laugh at them!

I think that was me that sent you the videos...
the whole wasn't funny at all....even the 'Free Range Chickens' part and the news segment...
it just seemed off that night. I don't know if it ever got re-instated in the SNL collections...I know for years it wasn't avaliable to see except on TV reruns....which is where I got my copy from, tho' I believe the clips I posted above are from a better source. There's a few clips on the NBC archive site which are he best quality I've seen.
Here's someones play by play review of the whole show(with images)

Sometimes a Saturday Night Live host gets the gig because they're a big star at the time and it would be foolish of Lorne Michaels to not try and capitalize on their pop culture ubiquity, and then that person agrees to host the show and is simply not suited to its environment. Sometimes a host comes in for the same reason and, because of fame or attitude or something else, just ends up annoying everyone. In Seagal's case, he was apparently both. According to former cast member Norm Macdonald, Seagal made his 1991 hosting week hell for various cast members, displaying arrogance, unwillingness to participate in sketches, and just generally troublesome behavior. Seagal was so frustrating to the cast and to Michaels that he was banned from hosting again, and in a later episode hosted by Nicolas Cage, Michaels managed to get a dig in at Seagal's time on the show. When Cage wondered if he might be remembered as one of the biggest jerks in the history of the show, Michaels countered "No, no. That would be Steven Seagal." Ouch
