Seagal and wearing two watches

Kind of a silly question but here goes... In all of his public appearances of the last several years, I noticed SS is always wearing one (rather large) watch on each wrist. He even does in some of the movies.

It just seems odd to me. What is the reason for it? Any of you folks do that and why?

He looks at his right wrist for what time it is, than he looks up and forgets the time immediately, and to ensure he is not getting bored he can than watch at this left wrist. That's keeping him alert at all times (not the martial arts)

That's a joke ofcourse, have no idea, good question!

I haven't seen too many photos of him wearing the two watches.. a prominent one is this..

One of the watches is a tactical grade product which illuminates light at various levels, and can also be programmed to align with a pistol etc. A variation of the watch was identified on another forum - https://www.surefire.com/2211-luminox-wristlight-gen2.html

The only other possibility looking at the image is that those two watches may be set in different timezones. It looks like the clock dials may slightly differ.

That picture is a great example of the two watches thing. By zooming in, one can read the exact time displayed by the watch dials: the tactical one seems to be at 4.55, while the other one is clearly visible at 4.05.
The watches seem to indeed show different times, but different timezones have 1 full hour increments between them, so the watches would be off if that was the intended application (not to mention there are hundreds of GMT watches out there, if one wants to keep track of dual timezones).
Maybe the watch is a mechanical and he just forgot to wind it, I wouldn't be surprised, LOL!
By the way, if you look at concert pictures, he's usually wearing rolled up sleeves and rocking two watches most of the time.
