The deal includes U.S. and Canadian theatrical and home entertainment rights and was struck with Voltage Pictures.
Directed by Keoni Waxman, the story sees the action duo as private security contractors decommissioning an old prison. When two mysterious female prisoners are forced to stay there one night, the facility comes under siege by a force of mercenaries, with our heroes forced to stand against the mercenaries and find out the reason for the assault.

The deal just includes theatrical rights, but if it is not great don't expect it at the cinema as no doubt they would rather not lose money showing it to empty cinemas.

The movie could play for a week in limited theaters just like WWE Films does. I would go watch MC at least twice!!

HEY IDC how long it stays in theaters as long as it gets A US release and make some money back anchor bay bought the rights to this movie i watched a couple days ago called I spit on your grave about a girl that gets raped n they thought they killed her but she isnt dead n she kills each and every one of them who did it to her n tht movie went to theater and made $93,401 in gross revenue & on a 1,5000,000 budget we know maximum conviction has way more of a budget than tht so u think tht makes the chances even more better for it to hit theaters?

The budget doesn't make a difference. All Seagal's movies have had a higher budget than that. It would depend upon if the studio think it is good enough to be shown at the cinema.

Dont they have like certain people sit down and watch the movie and they debate it over if it should go in theaters or not is that how it works?

Would be Awesome if MC gets a limited theatrical release. But most likely it will get the Cable TV Premier treatment like "The Keeper" got. Remember back when The Keeper came out? SPIKE TV premiered it and they show the DVD commercial too. Spike Tv shows a lot of Seagal & sometimes they have Seagal marathons! SPIKE has shown: Urban Justice, The Keeper, Kill Switch, A Dangerous Man, Today You Die, Fire Down Below, and more!

SPIKE TV SEAGAL MOVIE MARATHON 01/16/12!!!!!!

And now I want to see Steven Seagal working on another film with such a name like Mel Gibson or Jackie Chan... Come on Steve.

P.S. I wonder if he is really going to have a new website as he stated in the FB message.
