Found this on IMDB...

Action man Steven Seagal has lashed out to critics of his music insisting blues greats like B.B.KING and ALBERT COLLINS have given him reason to believe he is good at what he does

the under siege actor has been ridiculed for playing the blues but he is not planning to put down his guitar any day soon- especially after earning praise from his musical heroes

Seagal tells hustler magazine ' Ive played with the greatest blues masters and legends of our time they love respect and praise me that should mean f******* some thing'

' I ve shared the stage with ALBERT COLLINS, CLARENCE 'GATEMOUTH' BROWN and B.B. KING and they say i belong there ..

I dont give an f*** about the critics...

Once again the critics have proven what morons they are ...nothing better to do then be ass holes maybe they should look that up in the dictonary ...how dare they say Steven isnt worthy of being on stage he has made so many fans all over the world so happy i know i may have not seen him in concert but iam lucky to his CDs and listen to them quiet often ..he always brightens my bad days ..so to those critics leave Steven Seagal f******* alone.... hoping that one day soon he may do another CD looking forward to it ..

Critics need to leave him alone. Why can't they say anything nice about Steven. It's obvious he can play the blues. He's played with alot of well know people. They don't just let anyone up on stage unless they CAN play! Hang in there Steven, I love your playing. Don't ever stop!

Hi,

http://www.gibson.com/en-us/Lifestyle/News/Steven-Seagal-Has-Blues-820/

I find his music very nice, am not still I blues fan.
I own both albums with autograph. I am very proud of it.
I find not good to direct about other. Nevertheless, the music taste is different with all people. And, nevertheless, this feels well in such a way. Would be silly if everybody the same might.

I am to me certainly Steven this makes no difference. He does not experience this certainly for the first time. This belongs to his business.

I would be glad about a new CD of Steven very much.

Not biased as a fan of his movies. He is not a groundbreaking musician by any means, you've heard this music done already, but he is good at what he does, he has the ability on guitar, he can hold a vocal melody.

Of course everybody has different musical preferences, but this is just a case of people trying to bring him down again with any excuse.

BB King on stage giving his appreciation to Steven Seagal. (Go forward to about 2.00). Steven goes down to his knee in respect to BB.

Well thats your oppinion ...that clip was quiet dark so cant comment on that much but he has earned the right to be up there with the best and if the best say he is ok well thats good enough for me..

Yes he has earned the right. I was just saying that, he's not a groundbreaking blues icon on the level of Albert King, but he has established himself as a good musician with the ability, contrary to what the critics try to suggest.

Smile dammit!
He's good with a guitar and has an earthy voice if he was not the star so many love to hate he'd have got the praise he deserves. F*** the damned critics! They are all failed authors and film extras anyway!
