Should Steven do westerns?

Who else thinks Steven Seagal would be really well suited to do westerns? I do...He had a distinctive western flavor in "The Patriot" and I found it very charming (charming cowboy, come take me away, oh, baby! ;) ) He looks yummy in boots and jeans, and with his dark, rugged good looks, he could even play an native American role now and then, too...Seems he rides very well, lest we forget the horse jump scence in ODG, where he was most impressive, (a double, I dunno) and soooooo very gorgeous....I think this would be a good type of movie for him...Anyone agree?
Just a thought...Seems he is a real natural for it though....Maybe they could even film something at Diamond Lotus Ranch...That would be soooo cool....:D

Smile dammit!
When he runs out of bullets you get thrown over a table! No, not really. Westerns don't make money these days.

come get some
Seagal always kind of reminded me of Lee Van Cleef. Just a little.

He'd be good in a modern Spaghetti Western. Those kind of movies involve a lot of acting with the eyes. But they also require the actor to stand still without moving for several minutes at a time, which might be a bit much for our Steve.

steven seagal would do credit to any role he was offered, especially in a western made by steven seagal himself. i always dreamed of steven doing a western, THE PATRIOT was just a glimpse of how good steven seagal would look in a cowboy hat and on a horse. i'd love to see him fire an old time 44magnum or even a colt 45 side arm in a western movie too!

Incarnation complete
only if he was out for vengeance or sumthin against other cowboys no indians...it would have to be somethin like shanghai nites becos of his eastern influence...like when the wild wild west is becoming not so wild turning up a new breed of baddy for him to waste...maybe call it 'seagals last stand'...KIDDING

Hehe.well I don't think he looks gorgeous...then again i'm not a girl and i'm not wearing dresses.:D:D

But to get back on topic...I wouldn't mind if he gave it a shot :)D) with a western. But it shouldn't be some romantic crap, it should be something in the line of Eastwood's The Unforgiven, now that would be great.

My only concern would be,how does the martial arts play into all of this? But I guess there would be a solution.

...Whatever...

I think he would be good in any thing... as long as the "thing" IS good itself...
Then why not some kind of Western... But he looks concerned in today's issues/matters, those that will impact on the Future, not things that happened in the past and that we cannot change... There is not much interest in saying that what happened to the Native people in the past is "bad" or that we did "wrong"... What happens today is the point, and what can/must be done in order to try and make the present and the future more "right" - as "right" as we may make it, in view of all the harm that's already been done and that we will never be able to really "correct" - is what is worth putting "energy" in... Today's Natives are struggling and fighting for their rights and that's the kind of "Western" I'd like to see, and seing his current "concerns" it might be a kind he'd be interested in... I think ;-)

I see On Deadly Ground as a Western...

How about we get together and write the script....? ;-)))
