I remember Serena saying ages ago no cars on the island. How refreshing! It would be great to go around by carriage,

I've taken horse-drawn carriage rides around the island with my female friends--but nothing romantic!
Many people rent bicycles once there, but I never did do that. Probably never will now, either.

Now, I think if I get a hot tub and place that tv right beside it, it would be a better setting for Ashley. She's always invited, you know.

If you girls like touring old homes....you should check out Riverview in Bowling Green, KY. It once served as storage for ammunition during the Civil War. The house has an observatory at the very top....very cool...kind of has the feel of being in a treehouse! When Mr. Soul and I went, it was just the two of us and the guide. We had so much fun!!

LOL....oh yes, the fun in the hot tub...jaccuzzi....My husband and I went to Canada for our anniversary a while back and spent a lot of time in one. Aahhh...no peeking.

I WAS considering a cruise in September to the Caribbean! They had such great prices. :indiffere

The weather service is saying this is going to be a very active season for hurricanes and tropical storms! I suppose they could take the ship in a different direction to get out of the path! But I would still reconsider!!

I thought of making the correction in your post, but didn't know if you'd want me to or not.

The last cruise I took was through the Panama Canal, up around to Miami, and we were just ahead of a hurricane the whole journey. The ships that were just behind us by a day were delayed due to it, so we were very lucky.

I was teasing you will probably be okay!!! But everyone knows how selfish I am I would miss you something terrible, but still would be happy you were on vacation! I can have both feelings!!
Plus don't you get alot of good food on those cruises?

Endless food--all you can eat, 24/7. Including room service. All included in the cost of the cruise. I mean, some even have 24-hour pizza corners! You know I was in heaven. And those chocolate buffets!!! Everything you could possibly imagine, and then some.

But that's why I walk around the deck at least two to three times a day, which on some ships is almost a mile all the way around. Then head back down for lunch. Repeat for dinner and evening.

Oh yeah. Plus all the great ports you see on a cruise. :indiffere

For a hefty fee, of course.
But you're worth it!

If you ever get to St. Louis...the Shaw Botanical Garden is very cool. They have this little maze there...it's not very big...but Mr. Soul and I took about 45 minutes to find our way out of it! We are such dorks!!
