No, Tiggy! Metallica's Black Album was all good! (and I bet LittleD can find some Prince album that was all good too :D)

Ha Ha! I knew I wouldn't get away with that!!! OK there are a few 100% albums .... but not that many - there are usually a few fair and one or two bloody awful tracks lurking on most albums.

Well, I just cannot believe what I am reading...I think some of you have impaired hearing or something...Even my father who is ultra picky agrees, Steven has a voice that is a lot better than some of the talentless folks out there who are calling themselves musicians...
Plus, he plays the guitar like no-ones business...
And other instruments, too...
And he writes great lyrics as well...
Multi-talented, that's what he is...
I adore the album and I hope it sells billions of copies....
He's got it all on the inside, which oozes out at you when he sings and plays, I can't believe that someone would take so little from these songs when there is so much there so much feeling...
I also can't imagine why you don't like the first two tracks, Tiggy...
Oh well, god knows that CD is like gold to me, I can't describe how special it is, how special he is...
Too bad some people are so blind, it's their loss...
I absolutely treasure that album, and I can't express how glad I am that he finally did get it out, I am so proud of him, it's one of the best things he's ever done in my opinion, I couldn't have imagined how good it would be...
I have no complaints....
And I cannot begin to express how wonderful a musician I think he is...
That voice had me way back when, and it still does, because he's singing about what he's feeling, and he makes me feel everything like no-one ever has, and like no-one else probably ever will again...

"he plays the guitar like no-ones business"

Like noone in the business amongs actors? Maybe, but I don't know for sure.
But if you mean in the business of music, you are wrong.

He plays with lots of passion, that's what I mean...He plays it like he feels it...

btw, that's just an expression...

Sorry Lotus, but some of the tracks are weak, and for me the first two are not great. Others are excellent, his guitar playing is good, and he clearly loses himself in his music. He certainly seems happy and relaxed on many tracks, and I would guess he is far happier in the music world than in the movie business. As for selling billions? well for that to happen it needs A)to be plugged B) heavily aired, and C) personally promoteted by him. Oh, and of course it might help a teeny bit if it were released world wide - not too many ''billion'' sellers come out of France!!!!!

I've Downloaded and heard a couple of the songs from the album. I think seagal should just stick to his action movies or promote his music through the movies...

You can hear some previews of the song there.

Sorry, can't agree with that. On the whole the album is very good, this is not a cheap quickly recorded effort, everything about it is classy. from the recording studio work to the packaging. Oh, that his films were of the same quality!!! I don't like every track, but I seldom do on any album. I do think however, that steven could do very well with this and future albums, if only he had a world wide release, and planned promotional programme. It's so frustrating to sit back and watch him get it so wrong, when he could be doing so well - arghhhhh!!!

Unfortunately I'm lacking the money to buy this CD yet so I only listened to a few tracks off of Kazaa.

I didn't take this whole music thing of him seriously. I mean it went on for years but I really couldn't care less about Seagal's musical career.

Though I'm not really into music I'm quite impressed. He has a great voice and he uses it well. If he would put that much effort into his acting he would shut many people up. I'll buy it ASAP. This has me more excited than any post Exit Wounds movie.

i didn´t take it seriously, either, but then i listened to "girl it´s alright" for the first time and was just blown away!!! i haven´t seen any of his movies in english, so i never heard his real voice before that (i went to see under siege in english right away to be sure it´s really him...:) )

if you want to buy it i can only suggest to compare prices!!!
i ordered it from the german amazon for 32 euros and it takes two or three weeks to be delivered. two days later i saw it on the french amazon site for just under 16 euros and shipping within 24 hours...
i still haven´t got mine, but i really can´t wait...

Where Can I Get It?

Does anybody know where I can buy the cd. Is it on Amazon? I never see it in any cd stores.

Thank you for the link. I really want to buy that album but ye you are right I think he is more better known for doing superb action movies. ;)

I can "assist" with French, should anyone need help...

I have the CD, and I love it.
Usually I prefer to watch movies in the French version, but I don't like the voice of his dubber, then I watch his in their original version.
When I finally got the CD, I did not expect his voice to be that "good"... What a nice surprise...! I love the voice, and the music, and the words.
When is the next one due? ;o)))

Question to Flashgalaxy: What do you mean with/by: "I think seagal should just stick to his action movies or promote his music through the movies..." ?
The first part of your sentence suggests he should not sing, and the second that he should "advertise" himself as a singer only thru "his" movies' soundtracks...? or does it mean he should not "issue" CD, in your opinion, and sing in his movies instead <G>?

Oh!!! That is a great idea! My heart would just thump if Steven were to star in his own musical!!! It could be an action musical that has all the drama and suspense of his previous movies, but adds in the flavor of his newly proved musical abilities!! I hope he is reading this....maybe he will do it!

And Steven if you are reading and decide to do it, PPPLLLLEEAASSEEE release it in America and not France! WE LOVE YOU MOOORE!
