spiritual healing?

hi, as i am also a spiritual healer may be can define for you what it is: a form of healing by the use of forces and energies from the world of spirit, channelled through the healer by the laying-on of hands on or near the body, or prayer or the direction of thought from a distance.
actually you can transmit fine energies through your hands...

I remember one time I was in a frightening situation and I saw a figure and heard or felt a voice tell me "everything'll be alright "-was that someone helping me spiritually? I did feel calmer afterwards and not frightened. I didn't even think it was strange at the time.

What you experienced, from my viewpoint, was the help of your guardian angel.

We all have forces around us trying to help us and protect us. Be they spirits from the past, present or future. You were open to the "message" at the time, thus your experience and your feeling of peace and safety.

Most of us do not allow those forces to enter into awareness in our daily lives. Such a shame, we probably would be a much more peaceful world if we would accept what we are being offered.

Once, in my own life I had a message warning me to flee a situation, the voice was loud and firm, not frightening, but urgent. I reacted and it was only a matter of five minutes before the warning paid off. I am certain that night the message saved my life.

So, pay attention to those 'inner' messages we all get, meditation has it's rewards and brings you closer to the spirits that surround you, especially those offering love and care.

I felt a strong burden to pray for my family once. As the morning went on the burden to pray got stronger. I didn't know at the same time my husband had the same burden.

I starting driving to town to take one of my kids to pre-school. I prayed as I was driving. About five minutes later I saw a semi hit the side of the road. He then swerved into my lane in an attemp to get control of his rig. Then he swerved back into his lane. I have never seen a trailer load of new cars tip so far over without tipping over. I just screamed and drove through a cloud of dust. I could see the cars were canopying me. It was like God was holding the cars up for me. God was watching over me.

there were other times I felt like the Lord was comforting me. I could have sworn I heard Him say everything would be alright. No one else was around.

It remeinds me of when God was trying to talk to Samuel in the bible. God kept calling out to him and he thought it was Eli calling him. (1 Samuel chapter 3)

Do you believe the guarding Angels are of the spirit world or can they be as real as you and me? I have a friend that helped me through my teenage years -he always knew when I needed his help, I often got myself into situations that I couldn't get myself out of without help -and he would just show up. He didn't ask any questions, and he would make sure I got home safely, and he didn't ask for anything in return.

Just pray, in the same place at the same time , make it a sacred place every day , visualise what you pray for, don't forget to give thanks and see what happens!

Love,

Jules, I just read your post and I'm now covered in goose bumps!

The world is a stange place that I don't even try to understand, just accept that is works this way and we should do our best to help it with our prayers.

Have you never been driven to do something unthought of, unexpected, and suddenly found it was just the right thing to do at that time?

The master moves in us all...

The spirit guides, angels, whatever you want to call them are always around us reaching, helping guiding.

Your friend may not be aware of the special affinity in alignment with the 'other side'. But they are sensitive to it and so are you, if you notice, so are you.

If you open your heart and soul - they are waiting for you. Sit in a quiet, peaceful place. Clear your mind of thoughts - let it wander through happy memories. Picture peaceful scenes. Lean back, relax, breathe deeply and slowly, let the images come, the soft whispers enter your mind.

I can do this in a crowded room full of gaggling people and they never know. I only appear watchful, interested and quiet. Sometimes it is five minutes, sometimes a half hour, always, the result is inner peace. I always offer a short prayer of thanks for what I have been offered or given.

My life is not perfect. I have the same stresses and interferences as many of you. But, I refuse to let those things take from me the peace and tranquility offered by the universe at large.

I am sending you warm thoughts and a hug, when you read this, think of that and feel it wrapping around you.

Compassion is real love.
It doesn't mean that you accept bad behaviour.
You love the person but not the behaviour and sometijmes "tough love" is misunderstood by others aas being cruel.
Tough love is the best love sometimes to make the other person change.
I love the things written above.
thanks for your spirituality guys.

Sometimes, I admit, I am afraid to let the spiritual side of things through. I worry that I won't be able to handle it, with all the other things I have to get done in a day.
Does anyone else struggle with this?? How do you find time to be reflective and meditative??
But I do beleive in the power of guardian angels... there have been times when I have listened to the intuitions I get and things always work out for the best. So WHY do I find it so hard to listen????

in this modern day living, having to live fast and get tons of things done before the day is done, the discipline of finding 20 minutes in the morning and 20 minutes early evening to meditate perhaps over a scriptural reading, or be it emptying the mind, there are tons of ways to sit quietly and meditate and many ways to meditate, creative visualization where you enter a creative , place, your favourite spot in the countryside or a beach and just look and be one with nature, or listen to some peaceful music and let your mind go, it's also good to find a spiritual teacher, be it from Bhuddism, or a religion, I've tried meditation from all the great religions and found the easiest one to do for modern man in his/her hurried life is transcendental meditation, nowadays I just find a scripture and stay with it. it's the discipline to stick to the 20 minutes in the morning or the evening or both that trains and relaxes the mind.

It's hard to find a peaceful place in my house (I've escaped to the bathroom many times just to find peace ) I end up meditating / relaxing in the shower - my husband can't understand how I can take up to an hour in the bathroom. The water helps to wash away all the "stuff" going on in my head.It is the only room that usually no one interupts me.-What is transcendental meditation?

I agree that it is hard to find time and a quiet space to meditate. I managed a few minutes while on a plane last week but that was about all for the whole of my holiday.
