This may be a daft question, and maybe I have missed an earlier post explaining, but why are you using Stevens Surname?

Yes, it's really him singing Kellie, although I was floored when I first heard it...i was like omg, is that HIM, like wow, cooooool! :D So much soul in his voice...
That's when I just knew he was much more depth to that man than I had previously known...
I think there's a lot of energy and emotion within him, who knew, eh?
And unfortunately, you can't buy it anywhere that I know of...
Tora says she thinks his CD will get released and I'd be thrilled, but I just don't know if he'll have time for quite awhile...
Hopefully someday, though...:)
Tiggy, I think quite a few people are using Seagal in their nicks, I should have too...:D
Although I am quite surprised the website's program even allows anyone to register that way
Anyway, welcome Kellie and enjoy, you are new here, right?

Thanks Lotussan, i cant believe at what a good singer he is!

:)

I only used Steven's surname as i only thought no one would have kellie_seagal but if anyone is offended then please let me no and i will change it. I didn't think it would be a problem, it's only a name.

Kellie,

He does have a voice that makes you want to close your eyes and let your imagination go!!! :D

Welcome to the board. Don't worry about using his name, a lot of people use a part of his name or one of his characters as their screen name. Enjoy the forum.

Right about the voice, it's something else...
I think his asthma makes his voice soft, and to me it's very soothing...
But it makes you wonder why they keep dubbing it over in his films, doesn't it?
Maybe it has something to do with the asthma?
Well, it doesn't matter to me, anyway....
He and I wouldn't even need to talk if he was having a bad day...:)

Wait, you guys know for sure he has asthma? That would explain his breathing in BOTB. I was kind of worried about that to be honest... I used to be asthmatic when I was a kid, not so much now.

Disciple, we don't know for sure, but then what do we know for sure? :D
All I know is that I love and adore him and that I worry...
I am simply concerned, so I guess I am sitting here trying to rationalize it all somehow, and I'm probably very wrong...
Hopefully, the breathing is nothing serious...
Maybe he just didn't want to do those particular scenes over again like TD said...
Not that it would matter if there was a problem, I would just be worried not knowing...
That's me, a big worrier...

I myself have heard of the rumors of Steven having asthma. I don't know if they've ever been confirmed, but I personally have always felt that accounts for most of the fluctuation in his voice as opposed to actual dubbing much of the time. I've heard patients countless times with severe asthma and, depending on what stage they're in, it will most definitely alter the voice. I know people here have said they have a keen ear for detecting voices, but I also have a keen ear for recognizing the voice quality changed by asthma and the steroid often needed. For chronic asthma, he most likely would be on Prednisone, which would definitely account for the puffiness of his face.

In all honestly, these were my thoughts while watching Belly of the Beast.

Interesting theory, and it could explain the need for some of the dubbing that's been going on in the last few movies.

Hmmmmm, could very well be...
Whatever the case, I hope he's feeling fine now...:)
Maybe we shouldn't even really be discussing this here....

Serena,

I think this subject is too personal to discuss here even if it is speculation, don't you agree?

Actually, no, Lotus. I don't agree that it's too personal to discuss. I think most everything we discuss on these forums regarding Steven is of a personal nature and is almost always speculation.

However, I do respect your wishes. :) And besides, this particular subject has rather gone off topic at this point, hasn't it? ;) But to me, that's half the fun around this place. :D
