Not to get back on topic or anything, but it seems to me that if Steven is still in Vancouver, and he is not traipsing off to Europe immediately, the least he could do is pop over to the Island and play a gig or two over here.
or, he could come and be a guest instructor at one of the aikido summer camps. I'd be up for that!
It's only a 20 minute flight, geez, I'm sure he could do it!
(and if he doesn't want to do those things, I can think of other ways to occupy his time)

Ok i got an e-mail from Joe and he said that Steven is planning an tour between September -October and hasnt made up his mind for sure in which cities will be chosen..
does that please all you girls and guys.. if i get any more info i shall post it here ..thats if some one doesnt first....

From what Myst says of her experience of how things are booked it's still too late to get things organised for this year but I would be happy to see it happen.

Sept. Oct. is doable, but it must be a U.S. & Canada tour. He is hitting the "Octoberfest" season and the information about setting up a tour went out in April/May.

I would not expect anything sensational. These must be small clubs or halls he is booking. Wonder how many here will be putting on their 'traveling boots'?
