Into the Sun Thailand

Respectfully, there's no way Into the Sun started shooting in Thailand yet, the permit's not issued. It's only in pre-production so far. The permits come from the Ministry of Culture who has censorship approval over the script and then from Tourism Authority of Thailand and the final permits are not issued yet, I just checked. So pre-production and location scouting only right now.

I met a fellow student in the Aikido dojo here who is head of Wild Aid a naturalist and environmental group with an office in Thailand who has been contacted by Mr. Seagal in the past re: Steven's interests in protecting the elephants from domestication and abuse. But he had no current information.

Sorry to let you down team, I promise I will let you know as soon as I hear anything semi-firm.

I am excited by this film because I believe his prior four film contract commitment is now fulfilled and he will be going all out with much more control for this film and I know it's a subject he is intimately familiar with.

Most of the time my contact person is Jimmy Moy, his consigliere from Chicago- anyone know anything about him? He's really a heavily muscled but super intelligent guy about 38-40 years old, usually travelling with Steven?

Ed,Into The Sun is not exclusively shot in Thailand-filming,as i'm sure you're already aware,will take place in six different countries.Still,thanks for the news.

Suzi,if you go to Thailand and get to meet him there tell him to make a little change in the script so that he'll shoot some scenes in Estonia as well.:D

This is all in good fun, and I doubt he'd take it any way other than that. "Lighten up" is the term that springs to mind.

Besides, he's hardly invisible, travelling about with a dozen or more people the way he does. It's not like we're publishing chapter and verse where he's going to be any given minute of any given day.

Haha yeah cos they're must be scores of people out there who are looking to do him harm..Russell and Tom may knock him off to ensure he doesn't take an oscar next year...And the information is sooo specific, like "Thailand" and "Los Angeles"....

And he meant that the information we have about Steven is so vague that nobody, not even us, ever really knows where he is.
