For you it might sound like bashing but some of us agree on the fact, that Steven' not perfect. But still we're fans and only would love to see Seagal kicking ass like in the old days. Which is unlikely looking at his recent track record. Plus some of the movies that apparently are on the line. Looking at those it's hard to see Seagalmovies gaining quality for a longer term.

I'm not saying I'm pleased with everything he does but I'm saying he could make it better and why don't we give him a kick in the butt so he would wake up and kick our asses back?:D

LOL and it's "Into The Sun" ... not "Out ..." :D

I knew I had it wrong... :)

And you're probably right, without fancy stuff it won't make as much money, but I still want to believe that people go to theatres for more reasons than stuff blowing up. A more drama/thriller based movie would serve Seagal well I think. On Deadly Ground would have been a damn nice Thriller, but they went on and made him do it the hard way. It would have worked better if they had concentrated more on the "thriller" aspect of it. Like Seagal looking for evidence and having a hard time contacting the feds cause he's got a bunch of Hitman and corrupt cops behind him...

It had great action and some nice fighting coreography and was really well directed by Seagal but it could have been so much more.

Shane Black should write for him. Then get Andrew Davies back. Now that would be awesome.

Same with TP...

It's too bad though, the public didn't take a liking to it and I think that's when Seagal's career started to hurt a bit...

The Patriot was supposed to hit the theatres (or so I've heard) and could probably have done more if it had more 'thrills' to it as opposed to so much drama ...

I actually liked it a lot. More than most people. It just was a bit "unrealistic" and the direction lacked a bit. But I agree with you. It went downhill after On Deadly Ground. I wonder what would have been if this mafia movie had been made instead. Men of Honor or something. I'd love to see the Script of that one.

What I don't understand is that Glimmerman was so underappreciated. That deserved more success.

Yes! Glimmerman was a much better movie than people give credit to it.

I thought Glimmerman was one of Steven Seagal's top movies.

(btw I like The Patriot too ... and the one with Mel Gibson was good, too :D)

Glimmerman is probably my favorite of his, or in the top 2-3.

:D And it wasn't me! I swear! :D

Hey! We've been wondering about you.
Were your ears ringing? :D
Great to see you back, SAS GA. :) Hope you're doing well.

SAS GA back home

Thanks Serena and all:
I have 2 jobs now sometimes 50 hrs a week between em and working on book that could be work for Seagal Sensei in the future (TV filmwise)and it took me awhile to plod my way back.

Some of you may have seen the tornadoes stories from IND on AOL about Marengo (40 min N) I was extremely blessed I had 5 of them in my immediate area! I was at work and was not allowed to leave but we were closed (restaurant) weird rain came in circular sheets (uh oh) always tornado extremely nearby when it went past sky looked like end of the world extremely black with tornado lightning (very forked wicked kind) then when I was allowed quickly before the siren goes off again and she has to keep me again no kidding.

when I got home it was eerie quiet (calm before the storm) then it hailed extremely hard dime sized chunks metal roof you can imagine over my porch the sound (deafing) I saw one funnel almost form but it didnt touch down one went to Lou KY and tore up a trailer park but they were OK. one was skimming trees at 67 mph in my park in my front yard it was throwing cans down the street as luck would have it it was trash nite.

we had fish in the street and frogs it rained several inches in minutes and the creek backed up into my park I wasnt sure weather to park my car or tie it to my lightpole there was that much water as I came home from work I missed the concrete drive by 2 feet water carried my car forward.

everything is back to normal but point is I see nothing wrong with counting blessings along with gratitude for all our freeedoms..everyone take care.

Well, I love a good storm, but not along those lines! :D
Sounds like you're very lucky to be home in one piece.
Glad to see you're safe. :)

Wow that was some experience there!

I've never seen a live tornade myself (as than on news or on some reality TV shows or in movies). I'm glad you got safely through it, SAS. How's your car doing? :D (you said it was carried by water, so did it flood the engine?)

Well, we had a downpour of biblical proportions yesterday. From my lofty height (okay, maybe the seventh floor isn't that lofty, but it's as lofty as I've ever been) I could see the big, black, roiling cloud swooping in from the west, and made haste to shut my windows - just barely in time (though I did forget to close the window in the balcony screen door, so rain came in between the screen door and the inner door. Puddles!)

My poor little planters, into which I had just so carefully planted my seeds, were awash with water. Down below, the storm drains couldn't handle the volume of water, and rivers formed down, along and up over the curbs. Much thunder and lightening as well. And my bed too low to the floor to hide under.

I knew something was coming that day, since I'd awakened at 4 a.m. with a blinding headache. Don't tell ME that weather doesn't affect health - I won't believe you!

"Steven with a goatee?...lol...nah"

If I'm not mistaken, he had a goatee (or was it a beard?) for a little bit in "Marked for Death". He wakes up from a coma and has it.
