In case anyone is interested, my cousin James Burton has just added some great new pictures to his web page,from the Festival that was held in Shreveport back in March of 2007. There is a Great one there, of Steven Seagal, with a great write up that mentions his "Crystal Cave" Album. Just type into your web browser, the following: "The James Burton International Guitar Festival. When the search page comes up, click on the one that says for the year 2008(Aug. 23-25th). When Jame's web site page comes up, look to the left side of the page. Notice the firey guitar picks on that left side, with topic information. Scroll down until you see the one that says featured entertainers and click on that one. Then scroll down till you see Steven's picture on the left side of the page. His Info. is to the right side of his picture box. Great Pictures and Article!!! Must Read!!! Also, in a picture box & article box before Steven's picture & article box, is a picture & article about My "COX FAMILY"-blood relatives. I Hope you enjoy and hope you are able to attend this years James Burton 2008 Int. Guitar Festival! It's all for a good cause! I think giving children the gift of music is a GREAT way to guide them in a positive direction and help them achieve "Their Full Potential" in life! Ooh, I like that picture! is he playing at the festival this year? Or was he there last year? Did you get/will you get to see him??

Sounds like a great event, too far for me to go though.

Hi Michell & Sue

First Michell: That picture of Steven was taken in March of 2007. As far as Steven returning to play; I just spoke to my cousin James a few weeks ago(which was a very rare moment because he is always so busy; plus I am closer to his mom, more so than to him). Anyway, James told me he never has the same famous people playing at his Festivals the following year, so he said Steven will not be playing there this year. As far as Steven stopping by, I can't say for sure but I am pretty sure James said Steven will be in Calafornia around that time in August, for filming or something... I don't know exactly where in Calafornia, and if I did know I would not tell anyone exactly where unless I know it was alright for public knowledge. No offense, just adding that out of respect for Steven & James. I have never met him in person because I missed last years Festival. Although my Aunt told me some things I can't share, from her personally meeting him. Very Nice, though and truly a kind man! I do hope to meet Steven One Day, by Faith, in the perfect time. Good Things Truly Do Come To Those Who Wait, With Faith!!! (Faith & Aarogance are TWO Completely different things)...

For Sue: Those pictures are from the 2007 James Burton Int. Guitar Fest., Yes, but the info. for the 2008 Festival in Shreveport IS aslo on that web site. Go to the Home page, it will all be there except a list of the entertainers for this year. James said he is still working on the list and calling people now, as of 2 or 3 weeks ago. The updates on that section will be posted as soon as James finishes calling everyone on his list. I can not say who all it will be since James is still working on the list But even if I knew, I could not say until James posted it publically on his web site. I hope you understand that. I certainly do not want to loose my cousins respect or provoke a breach of his privacy. He really is of my blood family and I would never want to hurt him; nor anyone else, weither they were blood related or not! If I find something out, when he is ready to inform the public, I will let yall know or you can keep checking his web page for more new updated info. That sure would be a Blessing if Steven were going to be there this year! I will try to make it this year, but if I can't I will ask my Aunt(James' mom) & Mom, how it was and who all was there. Also, even if I am not able to go, I am going to leave my money donation and my Violen donation with my Aunt L., to make my contributions for those children, while visiting in July....
