The Steven Seagal Blues Band will be performing alongside Willie Nelson, Taylor Dayne, Confederate Railroad, CandleBox, Reckless Kelly, The Cate Brothers, Kip Attaway and George Michalski & Vince Welnick (of The Grateful Dead and the Tubes ). February 27 - Steven Seagal will reign as this year's celebrity monarch for the Krewe of Orpheus, a lavish Carnival parade that Harry Connick Jr. founded.

Seagal will be the celebrity spokesman for Rebuilding Together, the nation's largest volunteer home rehabilitation group. Rebuilding Together has partnered with the Mardi Gras krewe to publicize the group's efforts to rebuild 1,000 Gulf Coast homes damaged by Hurricane Katrina.

The 54-year-old actor will lead the 27-float parade on Feb. 27, or Lundi Gras. Mardi Gras is Feb. 28. (source: seagaljr).

Well Nathanael, I am in that group of photos, the secret is out of the bag.
He then went into the stands to watch the horses race.

Wow, look at all those photos!!! Thanks for such a treat. How lucky are all those fans to have photos taken with Steven. I wish I was one of them, wow. Isn't he just scrumptious. I think he must be the most photographed person in the universe, and the most photogenic too. Thanks again.

I just wonder where and when Steven Seagal is performing these days. I missed his last touring. But will never forget meeting him on my flight from Moscow to New York awhile back. Lyudmila97

Kahk-whah Zah-Voot? O-Chin Pree-Yaht-nuh!!! Yehn-isz-nile O-Chin Pah-roos-skey. This is My phonetical way of spelling how those Russian words Sound To Me. That is How I learn to Say them properly. I NEED To Study more, when I have time. It is such a Beautiful Language! I know a couple of songs in Russian, but can only remember one, for now. I also have a newspaper from Russia - written in Russian, a Childrens Book from Russian - written in Russian, A Russian English/English Russian Dictionary, A History Book from Russia, some barettes & 1 spoon from Russia, I have several Bibles in Russian/Russian English, and I have a few Russian language learning cassette tapes & books....and so much more.... I have a friend from Russia, native of Russian (Russian Jew) who moved to Israel with her husband. I also have friends in Regia Latvia, I haven't seen in years. And I just met 2 nice ladies from Russia at the post office, a couple of months ago, who said they will teach me more Russian when I have time to learn more....

Message of love delivered from Ghana Royalty

The Princess of Ghana visited B.C. Children's Hospital yesterday with a message that love connects us all.

During the visit she lovingly kissed and then affixed a single bracelet, handmade by children living at her orphanage, on the wrists of a handful of local kids.

"Many of these children have been orphaned by HIV/AIDS," said Princess Asie Ocansey of the 850 children under her care, "so they know what its like to lose someone."

The princess partnered with Hollywood actor Steven Seagal for their charity.

"For every child that's suffering it's important to do everything to make their lives a little bit better," said Seagal, who failed to appear, but did phone from his set in Surrey.

"And we all, rich or poor, have something to give."

Beverly Davidson watched her daughter Katie light up when the princess gave her a bracelet.

"This is just overwhelming," the mother said. "What a lovely experience to meet someone like that who is taking time out to come here."

And the princess expects Katie to return the favour.

"Now she has 850 friends in Ghana and she can come and visit them," she said. "That's what world peace is about."
