So,TD,you keep on criticizing instead of offering something more worthy, huh?
Now go and write Lord Of The Rings 4 specially for Steven!!!!!:D

I'm happy to offer something more worthy! Actually, I think I'd be a great "script doctor" - fix what's already written! But I do have ideas, I'm just not familiar enough with the script writing process to actually write a "script". I'm more comfortable writing a novel or a short story. I did write a play a while back, which the actors who performed it quite liked and wanted more of, but success made me nervous, so I quit... stupid, eh?

-TD, not so nervous any more

scripts

Well I have little doubt in my mind that The Foreigner especially read a lot better on paper than it eventually turned out: it was the direction that killed it. Out For a Kill was in a different league though, way to much mumbo jumbo to make a decent film and that's partially what slowed it down so much. I enjoyed Anthony Hickox' "Hellraiser 3", he can make a decent film when he puts his mind to it but I'm not quite sure how he'll handle a Seagal film. "Full Eclipse" was similar but very muddled: it started out like a John Woo shooutout and ended up with third-rate werewolves. I fear Submerged may turn out to be along similar lines. Hopefully Seagal will get the chance to crack some limbs though...

TD,I hunger to read your works.Would you mind introducing some to me?

I make no bones about the fact that I have so far been unsuccessful in getting my fiction published (mostly because I don't spend enough time at it). Most of my projects right now are non-fiction - I review short fiction and I've also recently written an article about - of all things - writing!

Mostly, I've been an editor, and that's where my strengths seem to lie, hence why I think I'd make a good 'script doctor'.

(Note to self: spend more time writing fiction - and less time on the forum - for which I'm sure many a member would be grateful, at least for the latter!)
