This was a project originally starring Dolph Lundgren and Scott Adkins, but the filming got delayed and now it seems Seagal and Hauer are starring.

Viro (Rutger Hauer), a mysterious criminal mastermind, partners with a disenchanted woman in a nefarious plot to steal a massive cache of gold from her father, billionaire businessman Kirk Bronson (Steven Seagal). Unbeknownst to Viro and his soldiers of fortune, one of Bronson's guest is a highly trained foreign operative who, along with Bronson, fights to not only save the hostages and the gold, but his imperiled family.

Director: Giorgio Serafini
Cast: Rutger Hauer, Steven Seagal, Costas Mandylor, Vinnie Jones

Principal production: July 2015

This is awful. This is probably even worse than Perfect Weapon.

Serafinis latest movies got bad reviews.

The post-Waxman era started actually interesting and promising with Code of Honor and the announcement of Cypher, but this and a low budget Sc-Fi movie seem to be a very bad decision from Seagal.

Hmm, don't know about Serafini. I liked Game Of Death and the 3 Dolph movies he made. He makes his movies look more expensive...

I already checked it with Benjamin Sacks. His answer:

"I wonder how these rumors get started. We are working on something but it is still very much in the planning stages."

"We should be official in a few weeks."

You know, these action stars just change directors from time to time. It's always the same people:

Ernie Barbarash
Keoni Waxman
Don Michael Paul
William Kaufman
Giorgi Serafani
Roel Reine

These guys are THE director's for dtv action movies at the moment. I just doesn't get any better. And we have to accept that...:(

No, they sent that info to foreign buyers and distributors a few hours ago, Red Sea Media did who are the sales agent. It's part of their official Cannes line-up. Since the festival/market starts this wednesday I'm sure they will make it public by then, unless they want to keep it on the down low and only show it to buyers in private.

GAME OF DEATH is probably my favourite Wesley Snipes movie. Nice cast, good action.

Really?

It's not one of his worst DTV flicks, but IMO is not even close to the likes of Passenger 57 or Demolition Man.

Personally I found the Serafini directed Dolph flicks pretty poor, some of his worst in recent years, so sad to say I have not high hopes for this one. The plot doesn't really excite me either, I'm getting burned out on the perpetual Eastern European mob boss/crime lord that's always the baddie in these movies. At least it's played by Rutger Hauer this time so there's some change. I'm expecting Seagal to have as much screen time as in Force of Execution, with him having a few scenes sprinkled throughout while a young actor will be the lead, again. A lot of dark rooms and corridors, a few fight scenes, gun fire etc. the usual.

At least Seagal isn't playing an ex-CIA something or other this time, or someone named Alexander. Kirk Bronson is a pretty awesome dumb bad action movie name though, it's no Mason Storm or Casey Ryback, but then again, what is?

Yeah and that alone makes it interesting for me.. ;);)

They changed the plot a bit but just so you know it sounds Seagal not only won't have a big role, but won't have much action either, as the guy saving the day who's replacing Scott Adkins seems to be played now by Gianni Capaldi.

PASSENGER 57 is a great movie.....But I tend to think of DEMOLITION MAN as a Stallone movie. Having said that, I think my favourite Snipes movie is BLADE II.

So I guess my top 3 Snipes movies would be Blade 2, Game Of Death & Passenger 57 :)

Very cool, I just had a chat with Gianni Capaldi and he is a very nice guy!

He said to me that nothing is official yet. He only knows he is going to play a character named John and that he thinks he is replacing the character that Scott Adkins was suppose to play (remember this film was about to star Lundgren and Adkins first). He heared that Rutger Hauer and Steven Seagal will star in it but he has learned that nothing is ever definite till you are on set filming. He is going to marry this Sunday, so I wished him an amazing day. As soon as he knows more about the project he will contact me, he promised. Very down to earth guy!
