Hahahahaaahaa!

I found that article amusing especially the point about the excessive bone snapping in his films. Sure, there is an element of pisstake contained in it but come on, it is not malicious and at least the author of this admitts to liking Seagal and lists his good points rather than some other media people who slate him vitriolicly.

Peace.

MMCK2

I'm with you, MMCK2. I really don't think it was meant to be offensive and felt that most of his observations were pretty accurate. I definitely got the impression he was a Seagal fan also. Glad you find it amusing, as did I. - Serena.

MMCK - I'm with you also. I bought the Exit Wounds DVD yesterday really only to see the interview footage and special features. To be quite honest, I thought Seagal came across really, really well in the couple of interviews with him - he seemed affable enough and pretty cool. I liked the way he compared the character of Orin Boyd to himself - "a kind of sardonic guy who's been around for a long time and has a problem with politics and authority". The clips of him throwing people around and teaching Anthony Anderson a couple of moves were pretty cool also and DMX was funny as hell when he said that in a real fight he wouldn't do all the chopping and blocking and stuff - he would simply poke your eyes out, ram his fingers up your "******' nose" and rip yer lip off! Hahahaha!

I know for a fact that Steven didn't pick Orin at random. I thought of it, and it's an anagram of noir. Yo, what's up everybody?

John I have to say I liked the book but not the film. I think they should have made a script of the book and added the martial arts to it.

on deadly ground and fire down below were awesome action movies. what's that guy talking about! i've dissected that scene at the end of ODG where steven eliminates all those guys in the boiler room plenty of times. it's so fast that on slow mo on my dvd player it still looks fast! the best move is the first guy, when he twists him and pushes him into the big pipe with sheer power. and you cant beat that mack truck scene in FDB. The patriot was OK, but steven didnt fight enough in it.

as for 2-3 word titles, that's his signature!!! been like that since the beginning!

also, i personally think it's awesome when he barely gets a scratch an entire movie, just makes him more bad *ss. the end of US2 when he just wastes that guy. or out for justice when he totally beats the hell out of william forsythe's character richie for 10 minutes. it's good stuff. then you have glimmer man when he gets bloody, but he eats it up and kills the dude. marked for death there was a little vulnerability. i love the screwface line: "You like the killing. Yous an empty shell inside."

Yes, he is definately powerful, oh yes...
Big and powerful and awesome! I really liked ODG, and FDB, and the Patriot, too...
And OFJ, very Impressive...
Talk about ruthless!
And then there is that aspect of vunerability that I am so enamored with as well...
Kinda saw a bit of that in TF as well...
He's got it all rolled into one, I guess that's why I'm so attracted to him...:)
And the newest movie was just great, because he does those great kicks, and he does the swordfight and all...
Like wow...
There's no-one like Steven Seagal, that's for sure...

Speaking of that truck scene in FDB, that is such a good part...
I really like watching him drive, it's so exciting, and the way he kicks out the broken windshield, there's just something about the way he kicks that really turns me on...
Oh my....

Sorry to say it but that Mack truck chase scene in Fire Down Below ranks as one of the worst movie chase scenes in my opinion. The scene is unrealistic, poorly edited and littered with continuity errors. Pity really, because the film is awesome.

And Lotus - I think you will like the interview footage of Steven in the Exit Wounds documentary - he even laughs in one part of it!

Hi Glimmerman.

Yeah, that was a good documentary and Seagal came across as pretty affable and not as pompous as what other people make him out to be in interviews (he could be in real life, who knows). I liked the way he was complimentary of the film crew around him without resorting to blatent ass kissing like some other big stars do.

Pretty good.

Besides, why would he need to kiss anyone's butt?
He's the major star of the film, that's pretty obvious...

oh man, i've owned exit wounds for so long, never checked out those interviews! i hate the scene when the chick dies in the rover wreck, it's terrible to watch. but seagal's look of "oh no" is incredibly convincing when he looks at her in the car before running off. and lotussan, that's some great stuff, although i cant relate to your type of admiration of steven seeing that i'm a man and married! so, what can i say besides the fact that SEAGALROCKS!

back to xbox live, see yas!

Heather I agree, he's got it all going on, heh...
Exit wounds again last night, oh dear...
Yes, his look of horror is very apparent after the
rover wreck, and he's all around damn impressive
in that film....So yummy too, oh my, I'm simply sooo overwhelmed by you, Steven baby...;) Yes, interviews, too few and far between, but then, he doesn't get the
respect, so I don't blame him...I respect you, sensei, you're the best! :) Heather, you think he's reading? ;)

He's NOT married, heather...But he might be very happy with Arissa, who really knows...She was the Seagal's nanny, and became pregnant after Kelly and Steven divorced...And now she is the mother of his daughter...
All I know is she's got a heck of a man there...She's a very lucky girl...
