This must be one of the greatest things I read this year!

Linda Hamilton returns for T6, with Tim Miller directing and James Cameron writing and producing!!

So we know:

- Fox distributing overseas

- 18 year old female is the lead

- new generation of characters will be introduced

- Hamilton and Arnold will anchor the film (yes)!!!

- David Goyer was is one of the writers who helped out

- this is a direct sequel to T2

Looks great, but curious if Arnold has a really big part in it. Judging from the trailer not so much, but it is just the first trailer. Really excited to see Cameron back hands on with the franchise.

Arnold has a good part in it. He shot for 2,5 months. They did the same here as they did with the trailer of Star Wars The Force Awakens. They showed Harisson Ford only in one shot at the end. But he had a good part.

Doesn't look too great, over the top silliness again much like Geneysis was, endless CGI that doesn't look real at all, just don't like the look or feel of it, God knows what Cameron is on about when he says it's got the tone of the first two. Really? I won't be spending money to see this, will wait 3/4 months until it's on TV and if I like it perhaps get the blu ray when it's cheap.

I haven't followed the development of this movie, but the trailer feels no different to the current trend of superhero oriented films. As theeverlasting suggested in the last post, it is over the top, over dramatic, and has no grit or edge due to all the CGI.

This might be a first trailer, but based on other films I've seen with a similar theme/tone, the trailer ends up being a good summary of what to expect.

Rambo 5 will hopefully be the opposite.

I actually didn't mind it. It was nice to see Linda and Arnie back together, and it was certainly a step-up on Genysis or however you spell it.

Would have been better with just Linda and Arnie though, didn't care much for the other two girls.

And I'm sure they could have resurrected Michael Biehn somehow with all the time-travel hoo-ha.
