About your computer, Kathy--the last time I had that exact same thing happen, with the flickering and the pausing, I found out it was a program that had been installed on my computer by a spyware bug. My pop-up blocker, Ad-Aware, and SpyBot were unable to find it. I found it myself in my programs and had to uninstall it. It immediately took care of the problem.

First, make sure you've:
1) Deleted all your cookies.
2) Deleted all temporary internet files.
3) Run ScanDisk Or CleanDisk on your computer, whichever it's called, and delete everything it suggests.
4) Run Ad-Aware and SpyBot, one after the other, making sure you have updated the latest versions and updates.
5) Reboot your computer.

If the problem still continues, you need to look at your programs that are installed. If you need help with any of this, maybe we can get together in a chat one night and we could do it simultaneously. Glad to try it, anyway! I promise I won't let you delete anything TOO important.

As far as seeing all those red X's, I went through that too and found out my security settings and the ActiveX settings had been changed by a well-intentioned, but not too bright, friend. After much trial and error and resetting things myself, I took care of the problem. I since showed someone else all my settings and she changed hers to the way mine were, and it took care of her problem also. If you want to try this, I'll be glad to do it the same way with you.

I'm really glad to hear you and your family enjoyed War of the Worlds! Everyone I know who's seen it loved it! And some of them are pretty picky.

Thank you Serena I will let you know if the problem still is there after I do all of these things.

Hi all

I'm finally back after 2 very busy weeks where I was away several times and busy with the tennis on TV. I didn't have the time to do anything on internet. I've now to update my websites, what I began to do this afternoon.

I went to see my first tennis matchs there's 10 days ago, on the 9th July somewhere on the mountain in Switzerland. I got a great time, except when the rain came to interrupt the second semi-final. I decided to left the tennis at the first interruption cause I had to go home, in around 1 hour and a half from Gstaad where was the tournament. I learnt later that it was interrupted twice, 1 hour the first time and 2 hours the second time. We can see me on the video of the matchs because I was seated in the first row close of the tennis court.

I'm waiting now to go visiting my friend in Scotland in September. Before that, I'll have some free times and hoping to go to do a cruise on the lake in August. I've again to buy some other Steven's movies, but it still depends if I've the money for that. Still waiting the release date of Submerged; I don't think that will be before September because, if I'm right, it should be release in September in the UK. Well, I'll be soooo happy to get it that the pleasure will be huge.

A quick note....

I am on for one quick post tonight.....

My trip starts next week.

It better not be too hot. I went to the doctors yesturday and found my blood pressure to be border line low again. 100 over 60. That explains why when it is hot I feel like passing out. Weeding the garden I can't get up too fast. (I bring meaning to the phrase...."Dizzy blonde" ) :indiffere .................THUD!!!!!.......ahhh...look at all the birdies! LOL...

Lonewolf...I would love to visit France! You paying for the trip?

This week is nuts with 4-H and the county fair, my garden is in business (thanks to watering it) I now have to start canning green beans, zucchini, blueberries, pickles, host a family reunion Sunday, and pack for my trip. Boy....should I try to fit something else in?

I may not be on much this week........definately not the next two after....

When I get home my family gets to help my sister move into her new home. Somewhere in all this I have to get my homework done by September 1st. Anyone want to write a story for me?
