over 400 fights in and out of the ring and on the street never been defeated, challeneged everyone from Benny Urquidez, Van Damme, Mike Tson. Hands down the greatest fighter who is living today!

What happenes when a Brazillian Jiu- Jitsu stylist takes the Aikido stylist on the ground?? Thats why its always good to learn how to grapple, kick and punch as well as Aikido.

Gracie is truly legendary, but I don't think you have seen all the fighters to have him challenge. His credentials speak for themself ... hands down great. These UFC fighters are merciless, but I don't know if that 8th in ju-jitsu is just good enough. It is however is a great feat.

Actually Royce Gracie beat Shamrock in UFC 2, Rickson Gracie is 10x better than Royce said by Royce and Helio Gracie( their father)

Rorian who it was his idea to create the UFC decided which Gracie to fight in it, he chose Royce because he was very small and it would give him a challenge, Rorian quoted from THE GRACIE WAY book I read that he coudnt put RICKSON in th UFC because it would be so boring to see RICKSON beat every fighter in the UFC thats because he could. So what you said is not correct that Frank Shamrock is the best fighter u have seen in the UFC, he lost to Royce and just imagine Rickson who is 10 x better than Royce what he could do to Shamrock.

Right now it is fact. No fighter alive can beat Rickson in a fight, Seagal cant do it, Van Damme cant do it, Li cant do it, nor any other martial artist. Sometimes we are so convinced that there are these great old Japanese and Chinese masters who could easily win but when it comes to a real brawl their TRADITIONAL techniques limits them to actually victor in real combat. RICKSON is the only one who has PROVED it, I can say that he is the best fighter alive today becaus he is, I have not seen any other martial artist step up to the challenge to fight him and win, and when there are other martial artsist I have not seen in other words not competing in those Vale Tudo events where it wakes up those traditional martial artists who believe oh there sensei is so great and their traditional techniques are the best, the martial artists who I have not seen which u said choose not to compete where I can clearly say RICKSON is the best fighter alive today unless they fight him I can say RICKSON is the best fighter because he prooved it and he is!

Listen you can't simply say that he's the "best" because he hasn't fought everybody. You assume he is, and you also assume that neither Steven Seagal nor others can take him. I have seen the UFC fights and I do applaud the fighters, but you haven't seen the brutallity of Russian fighters since those are very private 'tournaments.'

Well as long as they are not facing Rickson they are not the best, you cant be the best if you cant fight against the best. Right now Rickson has proved to be the best not UFC, Vale Tudo which is much more deadlier than UFC, and you have never seen Rickson fight in Brazil for almost 3 hours raw footage no rules. If they dont fight Rickson they are not the best.

Exactly! Rickson is the best and you cant deny it if those people who you say are so good never fought him, he fought the best all over the world, even challenging the best. He is the best, and unless the "so caled" best doesnt fight him then those people cant be the best. The people you refer to used to be like that untill they came to challenge Rickson and those "best" were defeated by the all time best.

Seagal was just as cocky as him, Rickson is a true master. His father created Brazillian Jiu- Jitsu. He is by far one of the best alive. You really think an practicioner who does Aikido is gona grab his wrist and use his power against him? Hell no!! Rickson is a legendary fighter, you have never seen him in person or his rare footage, and you are so dead wrong if you say he fights for the money. He fights for the passion, for his honor, and fights to be the best!

Many times alot of martial artist want to be at an edge saying the best dont challenge blah blah blah, Rickson proved that to the people who only could talk and not actually prove anything. Prove me wrong that Rickson Gracie is not the best fighter alive. If you have never seen any of his legendary Brazillian street fights dont comment, if you have never seen him fight you simply do not know.
