Yes they do. Guess that is the look they are after though.Maybe I am the only one, but this locations look like a shithole! But the movie is about bad wheather so it could make sense.
The people who make a living working DTV films are pro's who make good with the time and resources they have - especially a crew that has worked together (both in front of and behind the camera) multiple times. Overall merits of the finished artistic product is always a matter of personal judgment, but technically, even smaller budget films these days are IMO competently shot in 2-3 week durations.From Lauro Chartrand
