long ago, about ten years ago I was in a bar and I read through a Magazine that there was some TV series which was going to made into a movie:that was the Famous TV Seies "The Prisoner" with Patrick Mac Goohan!
Three actors were thought of for the part:Mel Gibson,Kevin Costner and I don't remember who was the third!
It still has not been done!
I wrote to Christopher Lambert to his Website and asked if he'd like to do
this kind of movie one day!
He was very kind ,he speedily sent me his picture! He was very nice!
he's the one who could probably do this Movie! In my Mind the role is for him!
Tell us what you think!
:) :) :p :p

You and I might be his few Fans ;) He was still amazing in Highlander. The rest of his career is a debatable ground :)

Lambert was awesome in Highlander, however, I preferred the series to the movies. Adrian Paul and Donnie Yen have an amazing fight in Highlander: Endgame.

big gulps huh
Mel Gibson would be a good choice, he actually looks like Number 6 and has the acting chops to play him. The show was very interesting and many things were never answered, I have always wanted to see a movie.

I personally still consider the original Highlander a cult film even through the years haven't been too kind to it. Lamberts acting isn't as strong as I used to think it was. But it is still ahead of his other efforts. The Sequel is a debatable vehicle. I have only seen it once and didn't quite like it. But some ideas incorporated in there very quite interesting. The third part ignores Part 2 to a degree and returns to the roots instead of a futuristic setting. But it was definitely a poor film and nothing can hide that. It actually makes Part 2 stand out more. I had high expectations for the fourth film after viewing the Trailer. Which was very deceiving. Half of the scenes were purposely made just for the promotion and were never even shot on film. Other than the fight with Donnie Yen it was terrible. Every other fight lacked his choreography. As far as the Show I love it almost as much as the original film. Will be buying the DVD's very soon actually. Adrian Paul does it justice through I am unsure whether a fifth film is such a great idea. There are even some rumors going around that he doesn't even appear in it. Not sure if Methos is a strong enough character to carry out the film. He was definitely interesting through.

P.S(Spoilers About The Show) Even through I seen the entire Highlander Show I believe I have missed Lambert's appearances. Also after Ritchie disappeared I have to admit I felt sad. I never liked him being a weak character. He still didn't deserve that faith after going all that way. Pointless in my opinion. Kind of like killing CD in Walker Texas Ranger. A show starts to drag after you start to get rid of central characters.
