Did he tell you about his future projects? The Expendables 3, Maximum Conviction, Lawman Season 3 - did you ask about that? Please tell us. :)

Yes he did...Max Con will be out, VERY soon.

He does plan on returning to Lawman, however, as we all know...Sherrif Joe Arpaio is still under investigation by the United States government...so once that is resolved...the plan is for Lawman to come back

Expendables 3 did not come up.....but, he has so much planned for the near future....we fans will NOT be disappointed....

Did he mention some future movies?

He did talk about alot of upcoming projects...I want to share as much as I can with you guys on here..

He has alot for us planned in the film department...I cannot discuss exact specifics as of yet, but for all us Seagal lovers out there, TRUST ME....we will be seeing him doing so much, that between his films, tv series, and music career....(not to mention his philanthropic work, which he still does to this very day) you will wonder how he finds the time to do it all.

He was very easy to talk to, and once the original nervousness I was experiencing settled down a bit...(which he was so patient with....he was so amazing)

I told Dida as well that as far as what is coming down the pike movie wise, some things are just in the planning stages, so I want to wait to see what comes to fruition before I discuss anything on here.

He has so many irons in the fire, and I CANNOT say enough about how much the fans really do mean to him. Please always remember this guys. He is a quiet, shy individual...but he is also very easy to talk to, and so down to earth.

He really does care what we think. He knows that the fans make him what he is...and he is so grateful for each and every one of us.

Good Morning! Thank you Barbara for the updates. I know that we will be hearing a lot more later. Once again I'm so glad that you had a chance to meet him in person. I'll be on vacation next week so I won't be here to catch all of the details, but I'll catch up with all of you when I get back.

Very disappointing to hear that he will not be in Expendables 3. :(

Nothing is for sure yet at all, as long as nobody has confirmend or declined anything, all possibilities are opend ;)
Remember people saying Chuck Norris would be impossible to get for EX 2, but Sly did the impossible. So the chances for Seagal to join EX3 are 50 50 ;)

Firstly I am again pleased for both of you that you had this experiences and you both look very good in the photos.

I just wanted to ask, how in depth did you talk with Seagal about future projects? Did you have set questions that you went through and asked him, or did you just talk about things as you went along? I imagine that you must have been pretty nervous and overwhelmed, but obviously there are not many chances that we can talk to someone who has met him first hand.

We kind of just asked questions as we went along...Steven has SUCH a presence...we were both VERY nervous at first, but he is easy to talk to, so that helped out alot.

He did say album number 3 is in the works, and, just like we all can be hard on OURSELVES at times, he was lamenting about the CD not being completed yet. We were like, 'Steven...you have SO MUCH going on, True Justice, movie filming, MMA coaching, you are a husband, a father, etc....'
I think it was nice for him to hear from the fans directly that as much as we love his crafts, we do understand that he usually has multiple projects going on at once, and we understand that some may take more time than others.
I personally would like to see the CD released when his schedule would allow time for touring, as I have never gotten to see Steven play live, I KNOW it would be amazing.

He did mention some potential upcoming projects, everything is only in the planning stages as of yet, but I can tell you we will not have a shortage of Seagal in the forseeable future :)

I wanted to take this opportunity to tell you guys about the amazing experience that I had as the winner of the Reelz Channel's True Justice Ultimate SuperFan Contest.

From the time I touched down in Canada, I knew it was going to be an amazing experience. A limo was waiting at the airport for me, along with one of the production assistants, who took me to a beautiful hotel in the heart of downtown Vancouver. About 2 hours later, they brought my chosen guest, Julie, (or Photomouse14, as you all know her on here :) from the airport as well. There was a huge gift basket filled with organic chocolate, cookies, crackers...all KINDS of things waiting for us. The gift card from Steven said "Welcome to Vancouver, looking forward to meeting you" Before we even met Steven, we already knew he was going to be a sweetheart.

The morning of June 18, 2012....Julie and I were about as nervous as someone can get before you meet someone of Steven Seagal's caliber. But those nerves did get a chance to subside (a little, anyways, lol) when we were brought to the set of True Justice. The weather forecast for that day was calling for torrential rain, and yet when we got on set, it was beautiful, bright, and sunny...which matched the personalities of all of the staff and crew from True Justice that we met. Everyone was so kind, asked Julie and I if we needed anything.....we could not have felt more welcome.

We were introduced to Binh Dang, Steven's co-producer, who took us into the video review "tent" and really gave us a behind the scenes look at some scenes AS they were being shot...which is so beyond cool guys, I cannot even BEGIN to tell you. Binh was so attentive, and with how busy the set was that day, it was great that he was able to take us under his wing as he did.

Then, a couple of hours later, they called to say Steven was on the set. He was in his SUV, and on his way. He pulled up, and got into the Black SUV we all know and love from True Justice to shoot a scene for Season 2. As he started his line, the car alarm for the SUV accidentally went off!! He has SUCH an amazing sense of humor...he smiled and as the siren was quelled, he delivered his lines :) He looked over and Julie and I and smiled again.

Meeting him was SO amazing guys, and I truly mean this: All of you that really love him and his work, I do hope your get this opportunity to meet him someday. He is such a kind, gentle, compassionate spirit. He signed autographs for Julie and I, and he talked with us for about a half hour or so, which is alot of time to give especially when you are shooting on a set schedule like that.

Alot of you know on here that I deal with a seizure condition, and I am facing potential brain surgery in the coming months for this. I had thought to myself, 'Before, I have this surgery, I hope I get to meet Steven Seagal' NEVER did I think it would actually happen. I told Steven about the surgery I was facing, and believe me when I tell you he listened, talked with me about it, and was full of so much empathy...it was such an emotional exchange. He really is that sweet, kind, caring man we see in interviews and on Lawman, so soft spoken, but deliberate with his words just the same.

We were on the set with him for a few more hours, and even after the initial meeting, he acknowledged Julie and I every time he came back to the set. The temperature in Vancouver fluctuates quickly....Steven made sure that Julie and I were brought jackets when the sun went down and it got very chilly, he even came over and bowed to Julie and I as a Sensei would to his students after he shot his final fight scene for the day.

When shooting was done for the day, we were brought to Steven's trailer to say goodbye. As I was entering his trailer, BEFORE, I could even start to thank Steven for this amazing experience, he was thanking US for coming from so far to see HIM.

When I tell you all that this is a celebrity that TRULY, REALLY understands that it is US, the fans, that help shape his career....He KNOWS how much we all love him and he really does appreciate all of us. He was so courteous and welcoming. If you ever feel unappreciated as a fan, please don't, as each and every one of us mean alot to him. He KNOWS we want more of him, and he is busy working on so much right now, we will NOT be disappointed, that's for sure.

Thank you Craig for having this site, so all of us Seagal fans can come together in one virtual place :)

Thank you for replying to my question specifically considering the great post you wrote following. I am sorry if I was too specific in my question, but to be honest I was hoping to share some of your joy.

It sounds like such a great experience and you two were definitely deserving as opposed to just someone with a passing interest or someone who might have used the opportunity to mock him.

Actually, no!! When he mentioned that during the MMA interview, I was like .....ok...

This is why I didn't come on after my trip to Vancouver and say 'He's gonna do this...and he's gonna do that' because things can change so rapidly...ESPECIALLY when you're talking a movie project, and, to be honest, I SAW how RABID some of the fans got when the Maximum Conviction trailer was released late!! I love you guys on here, but that thread about the late trailer got MEAN!!!

He did mention some projects he had in mind...so, if they come to fruition, then I will discuss them as they come about...but he hadn't even talked about spearheading Tip of The Spear with us, (pun intended)

Barbara sorry to bother you, you don't seem to want to discuss any of the projects he brought up. Is this because you were told not to, or because you don't want to aggravate people on the forum? If you're allowed to speak freely about what you told, I and alot of other people would appreciate any new details you could share. It's not even a case of something to fruition, as you would know there have been alot of projects rumored and raised in interviews over the time that, for reasons unknown to us, never surfaced - but still it is good to know what he is working on, or what ideas he has.

The thread regarding the trailer had nothing to do with Seagal or anyone involved in producing the film - it was due to the company distributing the product.

Of course if you don't want to discuss it its your choice and I respect you very much.

Excuse me for being wayyyyyyy late to this party! Haven't been here in several months. Congratulations to you both. I remember using FB/Twitter and etc. to get as many entries in the drawing as possible :) haha.
May I ask:
Did they ask you to sign NDAs concerning upcoming projects? (Non-disclosure agreements) I imagine that is probably pretty standard so maybe I shouldn't even ask.
Did he talk about his music? Or the energy drink ;) wink wink
Did you put in a word for the forum?
Did you get any other goodies? And I was wondering if there was a deluxe version of the season one DVD set, I dunno, with like a zipper or crazy laminate on it :p You know, something that makes it painful to fit inside your entertainment center :)
