Television True Justice Season One: Australian Box set

Hi all,

I'm new around here and thought I would show some photos I took of the newly released Australian box set of True Justice.

It's the complete series run, including Payback, over seven discs. There are making of specials for each film except the last one, trailers, Seagal music and more!

The set can be found in shops for $30-45 depending where you look. Considering ONE episode disc is around $25-30, this is amazing value. I am glad I held out until all episodes were individually released as I just knew they would release a box set at a cheaper price... just not this cheap!

Here's the link for the TRUE JUSTICE boxset that i got from Australia online dvd shop - - - - http--www.ezydvd.com.au- - - - - You will need a multi-region dvd player though unless your in Oz!! Payback is definately the best episode of the 1st series! Bring on the 2nd series to see who makes it out alive!!!!

I have only seen two episodes so far and what i have seen just rocks and yes iam looking forward to getting the next seasons collection when it comes out to Australia ..

It's actually Region 4, fyi.

I'm up to Payback, but am waiting until Soldier of Vengeance is released to finish off Season 1 because I fear it's a cliffhanger...

Can anyone confirm this? Is Payback part 1 of 2? And, if so, does Soldier of Vengeance continue straight on, or are we going to have to wait for the next Australian complete-season box set to find out what actually happens at the end of the episode?

Thanks

Yeah season 1 does end on a cliffhanger but I dunno where SOV starts off because it is completely different to season 1 with a different team so yeah the season finale is a cliffhanger but I dont think it will contiue straight o but I cud b wrong...

Hope this was helpful enough :)

Thanks for the information, it's much appreciated.

I'll hold off on watching Payback until the new episode is released and hope that there's some kind of explanation as to what happened.

This series really has been terribly mistreated. It hasn't even had a US release, and the UK release consists of four separate releases which make no reference to the True Justice series at all and merely present the episodes illogically as poorly spliced-together DTV movies, and in the wrong order too! Even the Australian box set, which is the best of a bad lot, still presents them as double-episodes, even if thankfully it's at least got all the episodes present and listed in the right order. But why couldn't they just present them on the disc as two separate episodes? They don't work at all as movie-length instalments because there's a clear break between the two episodes, even if there's often an overall story-arc.

This last news about the Payback cliffhanger is really the final straw. Because if it's not resolve in SOV, then basically we'll never get to find out what happens until a proper box set is released (probably in Australia again). In the meantime we get SOV and Death Riders, neither of which will likely address the unresolved story.

Ah well, here's hoping that they at least mention what happened to the team. Stupid promotion for a series which clearly has some love as it's managed to get a second season...
