Southeast Asia is a land of beautiful landscapes, people, culture, spirituality and vibrant cities, but underneath the beautiful veneer lies opposing darkness, grime, prostitution, slavery, drugs, and corrupt officials.

Decorated CIA operative Jake Alexander has dedicated his career to eliminating crime from Southeast Asia out of commitment to his job and love for his new found home. While on a mission to stop a Black Market organ dealer’s organization, Jake loses a vital team member, Zach Stevens, when Stevens is killed during a sting operation. At Alexander’s debriefing, his long time handler Jessica Thompson informs him that the case against the organ trafficker is closed due to the fallout, and that he and his team will be reassigned to another part of the world.

Disillusioned that they cannot bring the killer to justice, Alexander and his fellow team members convene and decide that the job isn’t over until Stevens’ killer is taken down. Rather than face reassignment, the team resolves to hand in their resignations to the CIA and form a rogue security unit, funded by an old friend of Alexander’s; Hong Kong-based Russian billionaire magnate Katya Sokolov. Sokolov agrees to fund the operation in exchange for protection and security. Armed with Sokolov’s resources, the team has everything they need to bring criminals to justice without the politics, rules, and regulations of the CIA. Once on their own, the team is dedicated to bringing down criminals by any means necessary.

Not sure what to think about this one.

It's created by Philippe Martinez, who directed a pretty good Van Damme movie ("Wake of Death").
On the other side, Seagals first Series "True Justice" was pretty disappointing, never got a proper ending and was released in a pretty bad way with those "movies".
If it would air on Netflix or another streaming site, it could success this time, though.
I wonder what will start filming first, this series or "Attrition"? I hope it's the latter, it already had a long pre-production phase.

From the brochure:

This year we are producing an incredibly exciting, 12 part cutting-edge TV series with the renowned martial arts and action star, Steven Seagal. This $14m series will be shot predominately in Macau and Hong Kong, together with New York, Moscow, Marbella and other recognisable European cities.

$14 million for 12 episodes is probably not a lot compared with some of the television series these days.
Wonder if they will release them as 2 episodes per movie dvd like they did for True Justice.
Looking forward to it though if it is something different.
With the sales brochure stating 2 episodes will be filmed in each country, my first thought also ran to True Justice and its release format. I believe you may be correct.

We still don't have any of the True Justice DVD/blurays in the states. That was a horrible rollout. Hope this is different!
The 6 True Justice DVDs are available through Amazon.ca, or, I believe many, if not all, are listed on the U.S. Amazon site and can be ordered from individual companies that stock the Canadian releases. I ordered mine through Amazo.ca with no problems.

Any new information about this being a "go", or a filming date? Thanks for providing the sales brochure :)
