Not sure if people are aware of this.....But a German distributor (called Nameless) have put out a 'Mediabook' dual DVD+Blu-Ray release of 'Urban Justice'
This release has a choice of three covers::

Cover A

Cover C:

This release is uncut (special features consist of a 'Trailer') and retails at around 30 (plus p&p) So unless you live in Germany, you'll be likely to be hit with import Tax if you're thinking of ordering it? A link to the 'Nameless' website (with loads of other nice titles) can be found here:

Personally, as much as I love 'Urban Justice'......I'm not keen on paying £40 for a Blu-ray of it....but perhaps the prices may drop, or it may be picked up cheaper on places like E-bay or Amazon? :)

Strange name for a Sony release...'nameless'....yeah that sounds legit....or did Sony sell the title to them.
and yes...you can purchase the HD version thru Amazon Prime or rent it for 3 days...
if you need a hard copy then just burn it a Bluray disc.
also I thought tit was called 'Renegade Justice ' outside the US.

The first cover was used for certain in the UK (titled RENEGATE JUSTICE), and the second was used in the US and both have probably been used in other territories as well. I like both of them. Have not seen the third cover before but have always been partial to illustrated movie posters. It looks good, too. Thanks for posting.

J.L, is one of these Blu Ray dvds public domain ? I never heard of a blu ray dvd that wasn't copyright protected and that one could burn it to other dvd discs.

Lee Nicholson, does this Germanic blu ray dvd disk version contain the making of this film and new special features ?

According to the website, the only 'special feature' is a trailer.
The Blu-ray disc is Region B (european)

Beats me....I doubt any Seagal films are actually public domain....people rent or purchase the 1080p versions thru streaming sites(like Amazon prime) then upload them...you could just download them and burn them(if you have a Blu ray burner drive on your PC)
Some of then 1080p vesrions appear to be mastered from the original digital source otheres appear to not be..
Fire Down Below/On Deadly Ground look like they are ...and some like Urban Justice appear not to be...
It's the only Seagal film that I have to turn up the brightness in order to see what's going on...
but I like it and it has a lot of action scenes and Seagal is not over dubbed.

It's likely a legit Sony release (with the FSK certificate) Chances are, it's locked to region B (most of my German Blu-rays are that region) although Sony have been known to release All Region (A, B, C) discs out in the past?
