Vin Diesel and The Rock sucks

Yeah Van Damme and Seagal is not in the spotlight any more and hasnt been in a long time. The Rock looks like a steroidfreak and Vin Diesel is just .. well boring .. there is nothing exciting about these wannabe actionstars. If they didnt have their big muscles to show for they wouldnt have a actingjob. How can I put this gentle .. hmm I they suck.

Ye Vin Diesel and The Rock suck!! What happened to the awesome action stars we once had like Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan, Jet Li, Chuck Norris, Van Damme, Steven Seagal, etc... They are not mainstream any more except Jet Li and Jackie Chan.

It was better then his other two releases but I did not enjoy it that much, I didnt see any kicks or Martial Art scenes from Van Damme, good plot but there was just too much gun fights, I want to see hand to hand combat scenes since I am a Martial Artist and a Martial Arts movie fanatic. :D

Kumite canceld!

I couldnt care less about this news.... but it may beinteresting for the once who do..

AXE FALLS ON VAN DAMME'S COMEBACK?

Action man JEAN CLAUDE VAN DAMME's big screen comeback has been scrapped, according to the Belgian martial arts hero's co-star.

The 'The Muscles from Brussels' was destined to star in new action film KUMITE, but filming has been shut down and the actor has moved on, according to co-star and co-producer MICHAEL McDONALD.

Speaking to fansite KASEYSVANDAMMEPAGE.COM McDonald says, "I've heard they are no longer shooting Kumite, so I guess you can say that's a wrap. Jean Claude is working on a new project in Europe somewhere."

AXE FALLS ON VAN DAMME'S COMEBACK?

I heard about that too, but I wasn't sure if it was real or not. I heard he is making a new movie called "Second in Command" I hope that this one is pretty good. I also think Kumite will come out in 2007? Not sure, but thats what I heard. Wake Of Death was one of his better movie that came out on DTV, so I really enjoyed this one alot.

As a big fan of Jean Claude Van Damme I have to disagree with many on the fact that he has faded. Maybe slightly only because he made such questionable films as Desert Heat, Universal Soldier 2, and Derailed. Little to like in those poorly made films. But Ringo Lam really showcased a different Van Damme for most of us. He has become an actor. Sure maybe not an Oscar one but a good one nonetheless. Just look at Maximum Risk, Replicant, and In Hell. The fact that In Hell grossed more than Belly of the Beast and was released in several theatres should tell you he still has quite a large Fan Base. I thought Wake of Death was quite a good film. He defiantly gave a good performance but it would have been even better if Ringo Lam didn’t leave. Now the fight scenes I feel are being overrated. They were very short and not very impressive. But I felt the movie worked well enough and the torture scene was very in the style of Scorsese. The final showdown was probably the most disappointing part though. Very B style and looked like it belonged in an 80’s film.

Kumite sounds like a great project if it happens. I mean I seen advertising for it. Why would he abandon it after all the advertising? I am quite positive he won’t. Maybe he will reconsider the idea of Bolo Yeung’s Chong Li training him in the film. I have high hopes for this film I must say. His other two upcoming films sound just dismal. He should do Kumite and then his Directing follow up The Tower.

Unlike Seagal, I think Van Damme will make a comeback to the big screen, he is in great shape and working very hard. Only time will tell.

Jean Claude is currently in pre-production for his upcoming film, “Second In Command” for Sony Pictures, directed by Simon Fellows.

He is also in development for his second film in 2005, “The Hard Corps”, which will be directed by Sheldon Lettich (who wrote Bloodsport, and directed Double Impact and Lionheart).

We talk about every other person on this board...

Jet Li
Jackie Chan
Bruce Willis
Wesley Snipes
etc...

The list goes on, but I figure you say this because it was a major "battle" between them. We like movies and we discuss them when they come out, You could say what you want about him or his movies because you have the right to speak your own mind.

Back to the subject....

"The Hard Corps" I heard about this one, but I didn't know when it's coming out. This movie should be good since the guy made some of his old classic movies. Does anyone know the plot of this movie?

I think Second In Command will be good, but I'm mainly looking towards Kumite since day one when I heard about this flim.

Go Van Damme!!

obviously because we enjoy his films, just like if you go over to the van damme site people will talk about Seagal. Get over it! If you don't like it don't read it.

and Im glad you hate someone you've never met, that's real good for your spirit, keep hating.

Well on Kumite, I dont think it was his choice to push Kumite back. He probably had creative differences with the producers, since he is directing it and wrote it. I have mix feelings about the movie. On one hand, its been done, hes done a few tournament movies already and this one is kinda confusing. Is it a Bloodsport sequel or not? But on the other hand hes not getting any younger, and this may be our last chance to see him go all out and do a ton of martial arts in a movie.

Im looking forward to Second in Command, it has a nice budget, and from what I heard the director did a good job with Wesley Snipes and 7 seconds. Castel Studios are really nice and this film should be solid. The Hard Corps sounds like something Seagal would've done several years ago. So Im still kinda iffy on whether Im looking forward to it or not. But it does seem to have a small love story built into an action flick, I like that.

Its been real nice seeing Van Damme grow as an actor, I have a lot of respect for that man. I wish and pray that one day Seagal will wake up and just realize he needs to put more effort into his films.

I think...

It's a bit too early to do an action film on Iraq... I think the film will be so much over-flawed that it will be a joke. My prediction only.
