Oh! Yes!!!
Walking Tall! The story of Buford Pusser.
First film: 1973, "Walking Tall", starring Joe Don Baker
Second film: 1975, "Walking Tall, Part II, The Legend of Buford Pusser". Starring Bo Svenson
Third film: 1977, "Walking Tall, The Final Chapter". Starring Bo Svenson.
TV Series: 1981, "Walking Tall", Starring Bo Svenson.
Fourth film: 2004, "Walking Tall, Fight the Good Fight", Starring The Rock.
BTW:
Buford, was supposed to play himself in the second film (1975) but was
murdered by the very thugs that he fought so hard against. They "fixed"
his car and it ended in a terrible crash, taking his life.

Now, we have Kevin Sorbo playing Buford? Sorry, but I didn't think much
of the 2004 version with The Rock! Understand, I like The Rock but just
not in this film.
But I'll wait and see the Sorbo version first. Then I'll make my decision.
Thank you, Simon, for letting us know.
God bless,
Mama san

I really liked the version with The Rock. I think he's a very sympathic and charismatic actor. But Sorbo sucks badly.

Jep. I agree. Sorbo isn`t that good. But maybe this movie will be a big surprise. The trailer doesn`t look that bad. I like the southern touch.

Oh my god, are you kidding me? I was a big fan of the original with Joe Don Baker, and I wanted to hate the one with The Rock. But, I did enjoy The Rock's version & thought he would be doing the sequal. But Kevin Sorbo!?!? Oh lordy....

The first one was great, but i did not really enjoy this one. Took a few nights to watch. :(

I found the action reasonably well shot for a low budget movie, but i did not like Kevin Sorbo for some reason.

I also thought Joe Halpin was involved in this movie as well as Walking Tall 3, but did not see any mention in the credits.

Mornin' Heather!!
"Hercules: The Legendary Journeys".
That the one you're thinking of?
He doesn't do a bad job in "Walking Tall"!
It's just that he is up against some tough
competition.
God bless,

Disgruntled fan!
I've seen WT2 and it's pretty good. It's a good standard DTV flick. I was worried about Sorbo, but he does a good job. The film is well made, and the cast is good, not that horrible crud from Eastern Europe, made up of hired locals. The bad guy too, AJ Bucklay, is excellent. One of the best performances I've seen in a DTV action film. He's a quality bad guy. Well worth checking this one out guys, and proves that Sony don't only make crap. It'll give you more hope for Hood. It's this sort of quality that Seagal should be delivering minimum.

He starred in series of tv movies as the character Hercules, which later turned into a syndicated series of the same name. He also starred in the movie KULL THE CONQUEROR which has a sword and sorcery theme.

I Just found the cover to Walking Tall Lone Justice

Story:

After cleaning up his hometown, Nick (Sorbo) retires as county sheriff and heads to Dallas where he hopes to start a new life with his girlfriend Kate and her twelve-year old daughter. Kate has been working on a huge case against Octavio Perez, one of the most notorious narcotics traffickers in the region. On trial, Perez is facing certain conviction until the state’s two key witnesses are assassinated in a brazen attack on a Federal Safe House. Kate and three of her colleagues are now the only witnesses that can keep Perez behind bars, but several gang members are determined to free their leader. Nick’s brand of country justice just doesn’t seem to cut it on the rough city streets, but he will go to great lengths to protect his own.

Yes I saw the movie a few days ago. It is pretty well done. I liked it. I give
the movie 3.5 out of 5 hispanic gangsters.
