The leaves on the trees are really falling, and it's looking more and more like winter here. We already have had snow flurries at the end of last week. I think it's going to be a long, long, long winter. So I will be here more often and I hope that my depression doesn't last that long this year.

One thing that will hopefully really help with that, Kathy, should be your job--and a job you love!

Plus, you've made some good friends here since last winter.

We can all make it through this season together!
Besides, I love the snow.

Thank you Serena and Littledragon. I am sure that this winter will be different than the others. I do love to see snow on the ground and in the trees.
Littledragon, here it's not the way it used to be. We used to get snow in November until April. We would wonder if we were going to ever see the grass again. Now it's just cold with below 0 wind chill most of the winter. We may get only 3 or 4 snow storms and in 2 days all the snow is gone.
Serena I have made a lot of friends here since last December and all of you don't know how you have helped me out on my bad days. With all of you and my job I know that I will get through this.

Now it feels more like winter, it is 20 degrees now and last night we had just a little dusting of snow so on the ground right now there is just light dusting of snow covering the grass.

I am still waiting for the big white stuff though..

For me too, Heather. And I know Lollipop ain't crazy about the heat, either.

Seems like everywhere I've traveled in the world over the years, they've had "record-breaking" high temperatures. :rolleyes:

I REALLY loved Alaska in the autumn.

How warm do your summers get there, Heather? Here in Michigan, we have a couple weeks in the 90's (32-35, if my online Fahrenheit/Celcius converter works

). But the humidity really gets high, often 95-100% in July and August. :rolleyes:

Hello my favourite seasons of the year are spring when everything is coming back to life its lovely to go in my garden and see all the plants and bulbs coming into flower . and summer i love it i spend all my time outside its lovely to feel the sun again it rearly lift my spirits . god bless . sheila

Favorite season got to be summer , long sunny days ( don't get many of them in UK ) sitting in a beer garden relaxing sipping a nice bottle of beer.
