Interesting thread, Deka.Deka1966 said:Just wondering since must of the tv shows I watch are American made , what shows do people outside of the UK watch ( if any ) ?
I know exactly what you mean!! I communicate with a few people from around the world, and some of them, including a few from the U.K., think the American sit-coms you're watching reflect the way Americans really are!Deka1966 said:Remember all them shows from when I was young lad , still shown from time to time over here.
The only problem is people think all the the UK residents are like people on these shows.
No, not the new one that I know of, but that was another series I forgot about. I don't remember which Dr. Who I really liked the best, as there were so many --and it hasn't been shown here in a few years. But I did like Dr. Who a lot! I followed it for a few years when it was here.Deka1966 said:Don't know if your getting the new Dr Who over there, I wouldn't bother the nicest words I can say about is PANTS

I don't believe The Sweeney or the Vicar of Dibley were ever shown here. But yes, Inspector Morse still is, and is very good! Quite enjoyable.Deka1966 said:yes remember that Lenny Henry starred in it
not to bad do you watch Inspector Morse , The Sweeney, The Vicar of Dibley.
I don't remember that one, Amos!Amos Stevens said:Guess the old series Mr Belvedere doesn't count huh
I don't really pay attention where the shows are from-sorry. There was an old cop series that was about an American cop who ended up paired up I believe with a lady cop over in England.. Dempsey & Makepeace:
