What movies have been disappointing for you this year?

Hi everyone,

I've seen a few stinkers this year. What about you guys?

Mine are as follows:

1). Underworld
2.) Once Upon a time in Mexico
3.) Man on Fire
4.) House of 1000 Corpses
5.) House of the Dead (don't get me started on this one!)

Cool Idea for a topic, I thought that Underworld was amazing. I even liked House of 1000 corpses, and House of the Dead. I love all horror movies though :D The movies I found the most disapointing this year are

1) The Village (I wanted to leave about 3/4 into the movie)
2) The Manchurian Candidtate
3) Sinful Deads (more like a porno then a drama, I had to stop watching half way through)

I thought 'Man On Fire' was good. The MTV style visual effects were quite weird though. I think Denzel is a great actor, i usually enjoy all his movies.

I have to agree with 'Underworld' in my opinion very over-rated, as for 'Once Upon A Time In Mexico' - yawn. Desperado was so much better.

Van Helsing. What a load of crap that movie turned out to be, despite how the trailer made it look somewhat exciting. Other dishonorable mentions: The Whole Ten Yards (not one single laugh!) and The Punisher (hilariously bad).

LOL, I just couldn't stand that movie, you see his old films like Drunken Master, Wheels On Meals, Dragons Forever than you see films such as The Medallion and The Tuxedo, one statement: Jackie Chan don't need wires. ;)

Underworld, was ruined for me by kate Beckinsale. Now she, is over-rated.

I liked Once upon a time in Mexico but it was played more for laughs, I agree it's not as good as Desperado.


Craig, would you think about maybe having a 'recommend a film' section?
A section only to discuss Non Seagal films, we have seen and liked.

I hear Jackie Chan is in another movie called "Around The World In 80 Days"...could be funny..Ohh dont say that gunslinger i was going to see that one 'Alien vs Predator'..

I watched 'Around The World In 8 Days' the other night, actually enjoyed it, i was expecting it to be awful after seeing the trailer, but it was surprisingly good.

It was pretty funny in some places.

Also a load of Jackie Chan region 2 dvd's are on sale over at www.play.com I got Police Story, Police Story 2 and Armour Of God for £7.99 each. :)

Some are. :(

Police Story and Police Story 2 are not. I have bought the Hong Kong version of 'Rumble In The Bronx'. There's loads more to the movie. Same with Mr Nice Guy and Who Am I?

Thanks for confirming that Craig now i will see it Jackie Chan i have always liked..its amazing he doesnt get more hurt in his movies then he does...I bet Steven gets hurt from time to time when he does his own stunts...like i noticed in one of the threads that an photo showed that he had cuts on his arm and it wasnt make beleive..

i heard that Hell Boy is the biggest piece of **** ever made casue i googled it that is wat i read wat do u guys think of it?
here in Australia the Buterflt Effect and Jeepers Creepers 2 came I saw them the other night and thought that The Butter Fly Effect is absoulte bull**** crap waste of time i liked Jeepers Creepers 2 i want to downl the song they used on the trailer u know the rock one if anyone knows where i can download it let me please.

Jackie Chan gets hurt alot actually...

Heather, Jackie broke many bones over the years on the set ... he even did stunts with his wounds not fully healed and many times with broken bones... He's a tough guy! Very impressive! (Jackie's outtakes ... very interesting - you could actually see him breaking his arms in some of the shots... and then a week later he continues ... I wonder if he's had broken ribs just out of laughing on the set :D)

Actually I think I would go as far as saying Out Of Reach..... I used to like it but now it is not on my favorite list anymore.
