What's next for Seagal?

I think as long as his DTV releases are making money he will continue to make them, hopefully they reduce quantity and increase quality. We know Steven Seagal could still make a decent movie if the time and effort is put in.

I agree that with the right time and effort a decent movie is possible though I think it's pretty unlikely. We can live in hope though.

I feel Steven Seagal would be better served by making one 'quality' film and not several cheapie DTV ones. These projects have only damaged his reputation.

If a major project is NOT open to him he could still seek to appear in big budget pics in a cameo role, These would get him exposure and like the movie Machete allow him to try different characters.

Ok my peeps, here is an audio interview from 10/31/2012....where Seagal talks about a number of upcoming projects.

I want to warn you though....after interview is over, the "hosts" dog out Steven unbelievably...

When you listen, you can hear that Steven is home with his family, taking time out of HIS busy schedule to talk to these backstabbing jerks.

They have listed a phone number for feedback/questions...I say...TELL EM' WHAT YOU THINK......(I left a message ;)

Seagal's audio starts 40:00 in

Thank you Barbara.

So he is still working on "Genghis Khan", "Tip of the Spear", and then that third project which I haven't heard about before; I did a search and now listening back, it might be "Efraim Longstocking and the cannibal queen"? If that is the case there is a film in development with a similar title in Sweden.. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2321798/

I also found a text interview, credited to "CraveOnline", promoting "Maximum Conviction", with a little mention of "Executive Decision" and his ideas for "Under Siege 3" if it was to happen.

That's good to know another film is getting underway soon. In the article they say it is not titled yet, so probably not "Tip of the Spear", anyway nice that things are going on..

Why not, I think you could have a great idea. I actually often imagine concepts for sequels but I don't often get very far putting it together. Haven't yet anyway.
