They originally said they're shutting the message board down to change it for the better-that is what they kept saying when the web site itself went down..and then the last we heard-they aren't going to be bringing it back. Too much bother I guess

Is StevenSeagal.com even that important? Obviously, it wasn't a well organized site, or this site would never have existed. I think we should all just hold hands, be friends, and stop caring about a site that everyone abandoned in the first place because it was not a favorable place to be. Can't we all just get along?

If you want things to be done right you need to do it yourself. That is what Craig R. did. Mr. Seagal found out the hard way. It would be awesome if he would contribute a bit of himself as a thank you to his fans on this web site. I think all of us as fans should write and ask. (nicely of couse) Get nasty about the old site and why would anyone want to respond? It couldn't hurt to ask. What is the worse that could happen? Get snubbed. Alot of celebrities do that. They sure like it when we go to the theater and go buy the DVDs though! I think we all forget to use our "please" and "thank yous" at times.

Yes, Julie, and I think Steven is a very proud and dignified man, I think he deserves some respect...
Some people even say I am disrespectful to him here with my posts, but I would never be that way knowingly, I don't think I am...
Besides, as much as we like to believe, we still don't know that he even peeks in on us here...
I know I would if I were him, but you never can tell...
I wrote to him about this place when I sent him a card, and will do so again when
I send him his birthday card...
I'll ask him about the official site while I am at it, it can't hurt, huh?
I just wish we knew where to send the Birthday cards for sure...

I hate to burst anyones bubble but "it ain't gonna happen"!
He apparently thought precious little of us when we were
all over on the old site, unless of course you were into Aikido!
Otherwise the rest of us were just "window dressing".
As for coming here? I doubt it! Too many of us have far
too many questions that he may not want to answer.
#1 question: Why did he abandon us when the old site went
down? Why were we continually lied to, that the site would
soon be back up and running, when they no intention of
opening up the site again.
Craig has created a wonderful site for us. He did in a matter of weeks
what "they" could not do in 2 years! I'd say that there were some
rather stupid people over there.
If he wants to come here, I sure that he would be treated with the
upmost respect, the administrators and moderators would see to that,
but he must also remember that he hurt quite a few people when he
abandoned us.
I love him but that doesn't mean that I think he was right!

Clearly, the people who were running that board weren't doing their jobs. The unfortunate result, though, was the the fans lost out, and that really wasn't fair.

However, many, many thanks to Craig for creating this website. Though I doubt that Steven will come and visit us here (and with the level of scepticism on this board I think he'd have a hard time convincing us it's really him! ;)), he should be well pleased that this place even exists.

Mama san and suzi, you are both so right!

I think that is being a bit judgemental. Unless you have heard it from the horses mouth, I wouldn't be so harsh. He may have had a good reason unknown to us for why he closed it.
