jhogan I must have missed something. Who is TuhRAAAAYza??

It's Kerry's wife. They don't pronounce it the usual, "Theresa". Since there is no 'h' in her name - it's Teresa, they pronounce it as I wrote it above. Say it outloud and you'll see the difference.

Oops...there's no Osama Bin Laden and I wonder why :D

Because he is hiding in the Pakistani mountains, protected by the warlords that hate Pakistan and America, where Pakistan is even afraid to go into, and where the US cannot since Pakistan doesn't "officially" allow them into their own country, for fear of an uprising by the militant, fanatic muslims. But don't worry, we'll get him sooner or later. And if not, he'll eventually die from his poor health and injuries.

He does not hate people who are gay. The problem is that the sanctity of marriage is being torn apart. Before you know it you will have "group" marriages like the Mormons. People will marry as many and whom ever they wish. Change marriage and who is to say a father can not marry his daughter, or a man to a minor, or two brothers. See where I am getting? Tear the foundation and what do you get? A mess! Same with our constitution. Tear it apart and you will get a mess.

Unequal rights? Sounds like hatred. Have you ever heard the comedian Alonzo Bodden. He made a statement about this. It was something about people complaining that gay marriage will tear the world apart. but he says, how will that affect me? Then the people respond by saying the things you just said, and then he replies again, "how does that affect you"?

Incest is different than homosexuality. I am not gay, and I do not understand their thinking, but i think they deserve equal rights.

Stayed up late last night to watch Bill Maher on HBO - Drew Barrymore was on and she spoke of her doc about young voters. Of course the whole show is interesting to watch - lots of intelligent views.
Hallarian - isn't it a shame that there are so many who do not vote? I can see their reasoning though - "what's the use"? I will vote but doubt it'll make any difference - Bush is ahead in the polls and the Right Wingers are strong in their convictions and beliefs. It is amazing how absolutely vile and hateful people become during elections. Guess it makes them feel better than "whoever" they are bashing. Bullies suck.
Osama who? even if he is ever caught what difference will it make? The radicals are training too many young children to hate and die. I'd like to see those very cowardly men get their own bums out there and fight instead of hiding behind children.
Speaking of children, I don't think it's gonna matter who is "elected" prez - eventually America will need more troops to fight all the axis of evil. Pandora's Box has been opened and there seems to be no end to it. I often wonder if the Bush admin. cares so much for "righting wrongs" why we aren't in Sudan yet ... or Nigeria (there IS oil there).
Meanwhile, tomorrow is the big debate. I need to get my Thesauris handy so I can look up the words Bush might use :)

I was watching the Presidential Debate the other day and Bush really could not answer the questions very well. Did you know he has the lowest GPA out of all the presidents?

I'm voting Bush... Why? Same as Julie said..his morals and mine agree in one. I believe he is keeping on the same path our forefathers did as far as the gay marriages and trying to stop abortion. Our forefathers ran this country as believers in God and God's Word..this is what Bush is doing as well.
I agree with the war on Iraq...I feel he did the correct thing. In my mind there are no doubts about it...he will win this election. Go Bush!!!

Wow - even lower than those presidents that didn't go to college !?!?!?

And besides, littledragon, the "fact" that Bush has he lowest IQ is an urban legend. See link below:

Well there was an article on Bush having the lowes IQ.

Report: President Bush Has Lowest IQ of all Presidents of past 50 Years
This is from The Pennsylvania Court Observer
University Notes
Contributors: Cristina L. Brenstein, Lana Taamar

If late night TV comedy is an indicator, then there has never been as widespread a perception that a president is not intellectually qualified for the position he holds as there is with President G W Bush.

In a report published Monday, the Lovenstein Institute of Scranton, Pennsylvania detailed its findings of a four month study of the intelligence quotient of President George W. Bush. Since 1973, the Lovenstein Institute has published its research to the education community on each new president, which includes the famous "IQ" report among others.

According to statements in the report, there have been twelve presidents over the past 50 years, from F.D. Roosevelt to G. W. Bush who were all rated based on scholarly achievements, writings that they alone produced without aid of staff, their ability to speak with clarity, and several other psychological factors which were then scored in the Swanson/Crain system of intelligence ranking.

The study determined the following IQs of each president as accurate to within five percentage points:

147 Franklin D. Roosevelt (D)
132 Harry Truman (D)
122 Dwight D. Eisenhower (R)
174 John F. Kennedy (D)
126 Lyndon B. Johnson (D)
155 Richard M. Nixon (R)
121 Gerald Ford (R)
175 James E. Carter (D)
105 Ronald Reagan (R)
098 George HW Bush (R)
182 William J. Clinton (D)
091 George W. Bush (R)

The six Republican presidents of the past 50 years had an average IQ of 115.5, with President Nixon having the highest IQ, at 155. President G. W. Bush was rated the lowest of all the Republicans with an IQ of 91.

The six Democrat presidents had IQs with an average of 156, with President Clinton having the highest IQ, at 182. President Lyndon B. Johnson was rated the lowest of all the Democrats with an IQ of 126. No president other than Carter (D) has released his actual IQ, 176.

Among comments made concerning the specific testing of President GW Bush, his low ratings were due to his apparent difficulty to command the English language in public statements, his limited use of vocabulary (6,500 words for Bush versus an average of 11,000 words for other presidents), his lack of scholarly achievements other than a basic MBA, and an absence of any body of work which could be studied on an intellectual basis. The complete report documents the methods and procedures used to arrive at these ratings, including depth of sentence structure and voice stress confidence analysis.

"All the Presidents prior to George W. Bush had a least one book under their belt, and most had written several white papers during their education or early careers. Not so with President Bush," Dr. Lovenstein said. "He has no published works or writings, so in many ways that made it more difficult to arrive at an assessment. We had to rely more heavily on transcripts of his unscripted public speaking."

The Lovenstein Institute of Scranton Pennsylvania think tank includes high caliber historians, psychiatrists, sociologists, scientists in human behavior, and psychologists. Among their ranks are Dr. Werner R. Lovenstein, world-renowned sociologist, and Professor Patricia F. Dilliams, a world-respected psychiatrist.

This study was commissioned on February 13, 2001 and released on July 9, 2001 to subscribing member universities and organizations within the education community

Editor's Note: This is purported to be an Urban Myth, but President MORON is still a MORON.

Littledragon - all you did was reprint the urban legend. This study never took place. It is FALSE.

Who is the bigger moron, the president or someone that believes an urban myth ?

[One Bush and one Dick, the way nature intended - BUSH IN 2004!].

Hey What's With This Bush And Dick

thing OF HOGAN'S. It sounds demeaning and If it's dirty wash it out now. I don't think it bleongs here.

The intelligence of Bush is a given. Actually by the standards of Maslow, a man who uses his potential completely and is as self actualized as Bush is, is doing well. However it doesn't help that he is so dishonest and in love with the big corporations.
