What's Up??

What's up everyone?? There is like no more interaction and no more posting on this site, just the same 3 or 4 people posting. This place is really dead here now. If there are alot of posts it's because of me, Anne, and a couple others posting in the same threads. But literally there is no more interaction here.

The Further Off Topic section that was once regular Off Topic and everyone could see and access I believe was one of the reasons people don't post here anymore, people love those threads and post in them just not at this place, some where else. It is sad now, it is to the point that I might as well not post here anymore and just sign on a couple times a week to check the latest Seagal news.

Suzi doesn't post alot anymore except if there is a new thing about Seagal, Serena she hasn't been here in a while due to some computer issues, Jules, Kat, Kathy, they were once all avid posters but we don't see them around that much any more, Yudansha has school I believe, alot of people have left here Craig, and all these changes hasn't encouraged people to post any better. I think we have to think here and ask our selfs the question, why is it so quiet. And to TD who said because maybe it drives people away from seeing my name all over the index, that is just pure absurdity and honestly the only reason you made that comment is due to the fact, you simply just do not like me, which I don't give a ****. I only post on weekends and this place has been long dead before I even had time to post again.

So come on everybody what has happened, there is literally no interaction anymore, this is boring, the only interaction is just the same couple people posting in these games threads I made.

So what is up??

It's a shame really Anne, and when someone says it might be because they see me every where, I just laugh at that comment, that is just a joke to me. Shall I rather not post at all and this place will be a ghost town??

It's like at a school dance ok, girls are on one side of the room, boys are on the other, if no one steps on the dance floor there will be no dance, I am trying to step on that floor, but it takes two to dance, meaning it takes many more to interact on a forum site.

Well I just want to say that I commend your efforts LD........you take a lot of initiative on this site. I've been coming here for a long time without posting so I know all that you've done. I personally think that you start some cool threads, even those that may be labelled as "pointless" and I hope that you stick with it. I remember when this site was much more lively, but I think that it has its ups and downs just like everything else...I have college but I will continue to post whenever I can. By the way, what part of Maryland are you from?

Awesome...I'm a native of good ol' Baltimore myself . I lived there for seventees years, and then about a month ago I moved to Millsboro, DE. Then, after being there for about two weeks, I moved to college here in Gettysburg. It was a little rough, but Baltimore is still and always will be my home.

After all the backbiting, bickering, injustices, betrayels, hurt feelings, and immature and nasty behavior that has taken place on this forum, it doesn't matter how much Craig puts into this forum if everyone can't get along with each other and treat each other as family....not a disfunctional family but a loving family that truly cares about each other.

I would do anything for my family because I love them. There are people here I have grown to love as family. Others I am still getting to know. And others...I am trying to get to know or at least understand.

If members can't love each other and forgive each other...this place is in for more rough roads.
I don't think Mr. Seagal would be happy at all to see his fans at each others throats hurting each other in words and actions...

With love and respect for each other, maybe the members will start to mend hurt feeling and this forum will soon be on a road to recovery. A place even Mr. Seagal can be pleased with. This forum and layout is better than any other I have come across to date......thank you for that Craig!

LD - I agree with you entirely and it is starting to frustrate me now also. I'll tell you what I believe is the main problem here - too many people have branched off and created sites of their own with message boards. A lot of people don't like what is posted here sometimes - they see life through rose-tinted spectacles and prefer the world to be a cosy and safe place with no negative thoughts or comments and certainly nothing remotely critical about the substandard Seagal movies of late. So what do these people do? They simply leave and will go to another member's site where they can be sure that nobody will speak ill of this man who continually short-changes his fans with low budget crap. In Seagal's latest movies, his stunt/fight/body double should be paid more than the man himself, as his stunt/fight/body double appears to have done most of the hard work such as walking etc. However, the fact that we don't talk about how beautiful Seagal's eyes are or how wonderful his large hands are or how brightly coloured (I say garish) his specially tailored suits are upsets a lot of people, I believe and they will all go somewhere where they can be sure that nothing will hurt their feelings. To these people I say get a life. If you get upset because somebody posts a negative comment about a film star who you happen to like then you need professional help. The majority of negative posts on here are the truth, it's just that people prefer to think of Seagal as some kind of hero rather than an ordinary man who has faults and failings like the rest of us.

Maybe there is a correlation between Seagal not giving a **** with himself, his image, or his movies and the fans that have become fed up with his out of shape, stunt doubled, voice overed, direct to video fiascos. Think about it we arent even suppose to compare his new movies to his old movies, so what everyone on this site compares is poop to poop.

I think the reason the board is not as popular is that Seagal is alienating people who once cared for him, and his productions. A person who never seen a Seagal movie, and watches a DTV movie is not gonna become a fan, ill give them even the benefit of the doubt maybe they though the movie was OK at best. Those people probbaly think he is a old man that is fake and slow, yeah hes out of shape and he is gettin up there but at the end of the day he is an AIkido master.

So my theory is that until Seagal puts something worthy out there people wont care enough to talk about a stale performer who doesn't seem to care about his product.

I can tell you right now when Exit Wounds came out it was probably the best the Official site ever had- we even had the Exit Wounds writer post on there? Now tell me what do you think about that?
Bottom line- the only person who can make this website go crazy is the man its about and I dont seem him making any type of effort to kick some ass...
