Dear Super Moderators,

i have a problem,first i was typing Steven Seagal at Phillipines on Google and i found same news and pictures about him.That was ok and nice, but then i was typing Steven Seagal at Switzerland an i have found this!!!

Is this normaly? Why do i have found this on Google? Does everything be published on Goolge and some where else?

I am not an admin, but I can just tell you that once you put some information online, you can find it by infinite number of sources as long as it's there it can be traced.

I have found the same thing on myself and many other members, Patricia. For this site and others, as well. I guess as long as you're a member of a public forum and posting, as Yudansha said, anything you or anyone else has posted can be viewed.

If you're uncomfortable with your personal profile being viewed, you can delete any of that information about your age or location or interests so it will not be visible. You can do that from your User CP. If you need any more help, please ask. I or any other moderator or administrator will be glad to help.

If you're not comfortable with keeping your current user name, you could always create another member name, with no personal information at all.

Google and other search engines catalogue whole sites very quickly. There are probably thousands of pages of this site listed at Google already.

This is normal for most sites and forums as Serena said.

If you don't want anything to display you can leave the field blank.

There will probably only be a very small chance that someone finds your profile listed in Google or any other search engine.
