Just found this, I guess this is new:
http://www.cinando.com/DefaultController.aspx?PageId=FicheFilm&IdC=26349&IdF=218184

Seagal is mentioned on the teaser poster. Also he is listed as an actor if you try it with this link: http://www.cinando.com/DefaultController.aspx?PageId=CastLink&IdP=106989

Maybe this is the big movie they will make later this year?

How reliable is this site?

So today is the VOD and Limited Theatre release right? I don't see much of it....

Thanks for posting, but to be honest....I don't like the looks of it. The bad guy Seagal fights looks to be moving in slow motion. There is absolutely no rythm or pace in this fight sequence, even Seagal seems to be moving slowly and we know that he still isn't slow (just look at the footage of his latest demo's in Eastern Europe).
So here's hoping that the rest of the movie is better.

Peace

To be honest, the fight scene looked fine to me. Yes, it could have been more brutal....but at least it didn't suffer from over-editing. There was a few long(ish) takes in there, that probably made it look slower. Not his greatest fight scene, but not his worst either. I'm looking forward to this one :)

Only found a single review over at IMDB:
You cant say that there is ever a drought when it comes to Seagal. Unlike JCVD, Stallone or Arnold who are a little more selective in the movies they make and we are lucky to get 1 or 2 movies a year from the action heroes of yesterday, Seagal has had 3 releases in the past month and i think 4 or 5 this year. The problem with such a high output of product is the standard isn't very high. Biggest complaints with Seagal is that he is marketed and billed as the star of the movie and then he ends up in the movie for a total running time of 20 or 30 minutes (if we are lucky), and even then he is usually heavily doubled with the body and voice. I never understood this lack of quality control or respect for his fans to put out something so substandard. But in recent years we have occasionally got a decent one that reminds us that if Seagal is in the hands of a capable director, he can still put out a decent action film. Unlike the releases this year Sniper, Code of Honour, Asian Connection, Killing Salazar & The Perfect Weapon (Both in the last week), Seagal is actually the lead, i would say he is in at least 70 minutes of the 90 minute running time and there is minimal dubbing. He seemed interested in the movie, it was set in Paris and he gets a couple of decent fights (even if the doubles are still present). A couple of smart one liner jokes, this was a decent effort and would say, skip his other 6 releases this year (particularly Killing Salazar and Sniper) and support this one with a purchase. Keoni Waxman is a DTV director that knows how to shoot action, he knows how to get the best out of Seagal. Seagal should make every movie with him. As a DTV release I would say 7/10... compared to every other Seagal movie released in the past 12-15 months, this one is definitely the best one.

Seagal screentime in this movie is about 70 minutes. This is the first movie since Absolution that Seagal is the main lead in the movie.... The movie focuses solely on Seagal as the main character and there are no secondary characters that take up any screen time. The plot is very simple and easy to understand... It is cool that the movie is filmed in France, with some cool shots of the city and it kinda changes things up a little bit. It does look a little cheap however the way that the movie is filmed... There are a lot of decent shootouts, explosions, a few good hand-to-hand fight scenes, and even some knife fights.

Although some of Seagal's fight scenes are doubled, they are doubled well if that helps. lol kinda like Exit Wounds. Although it is obvious to a hardcore Seagal fan that it it may not be Seagal doing all the fight scenes it is very difficult to tell. Seagal does seem to be very un-interested in this movie and seems to be whispering the entire time, however doesn't appear to be any voice overs. I am overall just happy to finally see a movie with Seagal as the main character. Unfortunately, he does look very out of shape in this movie and any scenes that he is running you can clearly see that someone else is doing the running for him...

Here's how I would rate all of Seagal's movies so far this year:

End of a Gun 6/10 - decent
The Perfect Weapon 4/10 - although short I did like the end fight scene at the end of this movie
Killing Sallazar 3/10 - bad fight scenes
The Asian Connect 2/10- Would never watch again
Code of Honor 5/10 - okay wish Seagal had more screne time
Sniper Special Ops 1/10 - One of the Word Movie's I have ever watched in my life

- what's Seagal's screentime?
- How many fight scenes are in the movie? And are there a lot of action scenes?
- how would you rate the movie?

Screentime is the most Seagal has had since maybe Born to Raise Hell...he was in abut 75 percent of the movie

Seagal has 4 fights scenes but none are great....there is no showdown with the boss at the end

I would rate it one of the weakest Waxman films maybe 5/10 for a Seagal movie

That said its better than AC,COH and KS which i have seen this year

Also no Danny Trejo in the film

Happy to hear that we finally get a true Seagal lead movie since who knows how many years of glorified cameos, but not happy to hear that it seems to be another unenergetic mumbling performance, allthough the clips they have released pretty much confirmed this.

To be honest I would rather watch a motivated into his performance energetic Seagal in a 10-minute awesome supporting role over a lead role where he's just sitting down most of the time and barely staying awake, but sadly those are the types of performances he has been giving out in recent years regardless of the size of the role. :(

Even in Machete he had fun, and was into it at least a bit more than normally, and even though his role was very brief, to me at least the movie was one of the few bright spots in his filmography since 2001.

2009 was the last year he put out anything even half way decent on a DTV scale, The Keeper, A Dangerous Man and Driven To Kill were OK, but after 2010's Machete I can honestly say that I have not liked any movie he has made. Still haven't seen Absolution though.

The main 3 points about the movie which i didnt like were

1.Support Cast- Problem with these Romanian/European films is that the surround actors are not very good and its the same with EOAG
anytime its not Seagal on screen there is no interest in the film for me.....Usually Waxman covers this by added a couple of well known co-stars like
Vinne Jones and Byron Mann in Absolution
2.Fight scenes- Usually Waxman films 4 fight scenes and although theres always one pretty ropey one the other 3 are decent...not this time all 4 fights are pretty
poor with obvious doubles and badly edited
3.plot- even though it had a 85 min runtime it felt like there was too much plot and not enough action....again one of the things ive liked about Waxmans films is
they move pretty fast moving from one action scene to another while EOAG was a quick 30 sec fight scene followed by 15 minutes of boring plot etc

None of it was filmed in France...that's all stock footage...read the credits....it was filmed ENTIRELY in Bulgaria, Romania
Unfortunately, he does look very out of shape in this movie and any scenes that he is running you can clearly see that someone else is doing the running for him...
Not just running but walking, getting in and out of a car, sitting behind a table, etc....his 'stand-in'(Chris Whitelaw) has as much screen time as Seagal does.

and what' is with this 'mysterious' character "Vargas' in Texas they inserted for one scene?

Machete is his only role where I have enjoyed 100% watching him since Exit Wounds.

I'm not expecting anything from End Of A Gun.

Watched it last night.. I'' have to admit that I almost fell a sleep watching it.. There was some good fight scenes but that was about it.. Those shootouts are really starting to bore me and Seagal's sleepwalking dialouges are really irritating.

Well lets see how his upcoming movies will be..
