Review : Flight Of Fury

First: I am a big seagal fan and spend a lot of money for dvds cds an books like the most of u.

BUT> R U BLIND?

Flight of Fury is missing Stevens presence TOTALLY! After watching it i couldnt even feel Seagal was in it.

There where practically NO Fight scenes, except the one in the beginning, in the Shop. The rest was unmotivated, unexpressive and the picture quality, lighting was so dark u could barely see anything.

After Shadow MAn I had a great trust in the Keusch/Seagal Team, and all the bad stock footage, the 80s style special effects and BAD BAD BAD Action editing would not matter for me at all when i would get what all of us expect from a Seagal movie> And that ist Steven Seagal!
But he was not in this movie. I even felt more of his presence in clementine, and he was in it the last 6 Minutes an i enjoyed it.

Steven, i am a fan. Steven, u worked with better people before.

Steven, put your heart into the movies or leave it.

When u just want to do Music its ok, but SUCH movies are a waste of my money and the ones of your fans.

Boy some are hard to please ...FOF was heaps better then AF hands down ...i just loved the flight scenes some nice moves and aviation..one of my brothers whom has just recently left the air force will be excited about this one ..

There was plenty of action in FOF so what if it wasnt what every fan expected i think he has more then made up for in this movie ..

Fof

...he certainly has a penchant for the f17 types and this movie was better for me than a few previous.
I started to shiver at the prospect of several hand to hand jobies but was bad angles and to repetitious.
Our stores get at least 2-3 copies of his latest so its all good.

Flight Of Fury is a good DTV movie, one of his bests with Shadow Man, Mercenary From Justice & Into The Sun

i think filght of fury is possible one of his worst movies. he looked fat and over weight and was hardly in the movie as in it was mainly all planes and that didnt even look real
i was just disspointed with it and rate it lowly
i could tell his voice wasnt even in it for half of the time
i rate it 3/10

Seeing how this film was a remake of the Michael Dudikoff film Black Thunder from 1988, do you think any of Seagal's films will ever get remade?

So, Flight of Fury. It has a straight forward story, explosions, gunbattles and fightscenes.

This would have been great if the movie wouldn't have been so boring. Now we finally have a straight forward story but the way it is executed is really boring. The first 10 minutes are fun (with Seagal doing an hommage to the shop fightscene in Hard To Kill). Then you can skip the next 60 minutes because the movie and the action really starts going in the last 15 minutes. Everything in between is just talking and skipping between Generals, Admirals and some militairy talk. Oh, I forgot, we also get a really strange sexscene. This felt really out of place.

Seagal is offscreen a lot. And he is also dubbed a lot. So his effort was not that great. Understandable, because his relationship with Michael Keusch was very bad after the 2 movies they did. So I guess Keusch had to film a lot of footage around stock footage and the abscense of Seagal.

Flight Of Fury is a little bit worse then Attack Force, it belongs at the bottom of the Seagal's movie list.

I can't wait to start with the Seagal films where the dubbing and the bad doubles are gone. The Michael Keusch trilogy is over now, so it's time for Urban Justice.

Flight of Fury is right at the bottom of my Seagal movies, the whole film just feels so cheap and rushed. It was pretty much a copy and paste of the Michael Dudikoff movie and the soundtrack was also largely taken from the Roy Scheider action movie Evasive Action (1998).

You are right. To be honest, I really don't know if it's better then Attack Force. Attack Force has it's moments ;)

Attack Force has the occasional moment I enjoy in a car crash kind of way. I actually don’t mind the final couple of fight scenes. Flight of Fury doesn’t have any so I’d say it outdoes even Attack Force in the badness stakes.

That shot in the “desert” where it looks as if Seagal ran through a studio in front of a big picture of some rocks while firing a machine gun before randomly dropping it and running out of shot...

Not posted here in some time, sorry to see how slow it is around here now.
Hope it picks up soon, this is a fun site!

I have a question regarding Flight of Fury.I have read that some other countries ( I am in U.S.A. )
actually censor some violence from movies before releasing on DVD or Blu Ray.
I am wondering, does anyone know if there is a DVD release from any country that edits or censors out the lesbian scene from this movie?
Of all the legitimate complaints people have of this movie, that scene stands out to me as the worst.
Appreciate any help and hope to see more action here soon!
