The scene with his wife was pointless to the film. The fact that she was dead was enough, seeing how she died was not important because it was explained in the film, that is most likely why it was cut. And who insulted how who spends money?

They were pretty pointless to the plot. The biggest of the scenes was Seagals wife getting killed but I fail to see how that adds to the plot of a prison take over, it was most likely cut because it added too much to a pointless sub plot.

Not everyone has to buy a movie to be a fan. And not everyone can afford to drop 15-25 bucks on a tape or DVD.
