Half Past Dead DVD released for sale

Do you honestly think someone who's struggling with money is going to drop 20 bucks for HPD on DVD? Now that would be shocking. Wait for cable and tape it for free.

Cradle To The Grave tops box office

Li's last movie, "The One" cost around $80 million +. That's too high for action movies today, unless the movie is like "Rush Hour" or "The Fast and the Furious".

    Seagal & Van Damme????

Do you know Van Damme? Nobody believes in Seagal's abilities anymore, so let's not bash other MA. I'm not VD's biggest fan, but he made alot of money regardless of his true MA ability.

Cradle To The Grave tops box office

The budget was $25 million. It's made $26 to date, so let's assume it should wind up around $35 million domestically, with another $20 overseas. Factor in at least $15-20 in video rentals, the same or slightly higher for DVD rentals, and DVD sales, and it will see a nice profit in the long run.

Cradle To The Grave tops box office

Re: Re: Re: Cradle To The Grave tops box office It's still going to turn a profit... That's all that matters.

Half Past Dead DVD released for sale

I wouldn't pay 20 bucks for a movie I didn't like just to see a handful of deleted scenes. BTW.... I have several Seagal movies on tape.

What were the deleted scenes and how would they have made the movie any better?

When the fu*k is the fu*king official site coming back?

Sequels are usually made when a film makes close to $100 million domestically. Granted, there have been a handful of exceptions over the years, but Exit Wounds was a one shot deal for Seagal. I think if the first one had been done a little differently, and had actually received better reviews, a...

Witnesses for Gotti say Seagal is a liar

So I guess since you've witnessed it first hand, that must mean your in witness protection? LOL Watching the season finale of The Sopranos doesn't count Kicking. I never said there was honor in killing but unless you live in "their" world 24/7, you have zero clue as to how they operate and...

Witnesses for Gotti say Seagal is a liar

You bet I take the mafia very seriouly! I've seen some of their "handiwork". A lot of it was the killing of their own kind but killing none the less. Unless you're part of the mafia's organization, you can't sit back and judge them all because they have killed people. I'm not saying that's...

Cradle To The Grave tops box office

Actually I did see it. It was slightly better than Exit Wounds, even though they were like carbon copies of each other. The scene where Li fights dozens of guys in a cage was tite. He doesn't have alot of lines, but he makes up for that with bone breaking fights.

    Half Past Dead Review

Re: Tommy's Review I agree with your first statement, but I mentioned in the previous post how some critics gave several of Seagal's earlier films solid reviews. That was when he was younger, in shape, and alot more motivated. There's a difference between having a calm manner and looking...

Dark Blue opens to low numbers

I saw "Dark Blue" and it was slightly disappointing. Kurt Russell's performance was good but some of the dialogue fell flat, and the story wasn't quite as gritty as it should have been. Russell was supposed to be this hard ass cop, but we never really see him do much of anything immoral...

    Half Past Dead Review

Re: Half Past Dead Ok... to be fair, here's my mini review of HPD. *Basically it was a rehash of his biggest hit, "Under Siege", minus the budget, the good supporting cast, quality action scenes, etc. Seagal had one dinky fight scene which was horribly edited. He couldn't even move...

Did You See Nasso's Last Movie "NARC"??

Yeah, like how Tom Cruise got a producer's credit yet had zero involvement in the actual film. Cruise is too mainstream for material like this. I think he hoped if he hyped it himself then people would automatically want to see it. It didn't quite work out that way.
