Li's last movie, "The One" cost around $80 million +. That's too high for action movies today, unless the movie is like "Rush Hour" or "The Fast and the Furious".

Do you know Van Damme? Nobody believes in Seagal's abilities anymore, so let's not bash other MA. I'm not VD's biggest fan, but he made alot of money regardless of his true MA ability.

The budget was $25 million. It's made $26 to date, so let's assume it should wind up around $35 million domestically, with another $20 overseas. Factor in at least $15-20 in video rentals, the same or slightly higher for DVD rentals, and DVD sales, and it will see a nice profit in the long run.

I wouldn't pay 20 bucks for a movie I didn't like just to see a handful of deleted scenes. BTW.... I have several Seagal movies on tape.

Actually I did see it. It was slightly better than Exit Wounds, even though they were like carbon copies of each other. The scene where Li fights dozens of guys in a cage was tite. He doesn't have alot of lines, but he makes up for that with bone breaking fights.

I saw "Dark Blue" and it was slightly disappointing. Kurt Russell's performance was good but some of the dialogue fell flat, and the story wasn't quite as gritty as it should have been. Russell was supposed to be this hard ass cop, but we never really see him do much of anything immoral...

Yeah, like how Tom Cruise got a producer's credit yet had zero involvement in the actual film. Cruise is too mainstream for material like this. I think he hoped if he hyped it himself then people would automatically want to see it. It didn't quite work out that way.
