(FOR THE COMPLETE 100 LIST, SEE BELOW.)

Tonight the American Film Institute will have a three-hour special on their top 100 movie quotes. Care to make any guesses beforehand? :D

Not in any particular order, but here are a few I'm guessing will HAVE to be on their list. I'll just do few, and leave room for others to guess. Amos--same for you! Don't list 100. :D

I'll list the winners here tomorrow, or as soon as they publish them online.

~ There's no place like home.
~ Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn. (Oh look, no auto censor. :D)
~ I'll be back. (It's just gotta be there somewhere! :D)
~ Of all the gin joints in all the towns in all the world, she walks into mine.

I don't know if this is the exact quote, but "Make him an offer he can't refuse", from The Godfather (I'm sure someone more knowledgeable will come up with the exact quote.

"I love the smell of napalm in the morning" has got to be in there, too. (Apocalypse Now).

"Fasten your seatbelts - it's going to be a bumpy ride." Now, I know that's Bette Davis saying it, but damned if I can remember the name of the film (I think it's the one with Marilyn Monroe).

I don't know if remembering this correctly, but this from Mae West - "When I'm good, I'm very good, but when I'm bad, I'm better."
