Yes!

After many trials and tribulations (don't ask what they are, I've mentioned them elsewhere), I finally received my copy and watched it over Christmas.

The content as content is very good, but the quality of the content, unfortunately, is very much an amateur effort, since Steven seemed not to have wanted or allowed professional cameramen recording his seminars. It's all amateur video; and other than having Steven voice a couple of quotes, there are no interviews with him at all, only with his students and colleagues. Those, however, are fun to watch.

I enjoyed it.

Oh it was fabulous his presence as the real man is so impressive, far more impressive than his character portrayals in fact...He is completely charismatic and his prowess is unmatched, he is awesome in this, truly something to behold...Everyone must watch this tape, you won't be sorry...And it is nice to see the students, because you can tell the think very highly of him, they respect him as their teacher and as the dignified master that he truly is...There is no denying his ability there, he is most impressive...Enjoy, I know you will....

where available?

for those of us who have VHS is it available to us? I would like to have a tape of this PBT and do not have DVD. can you help us ?

SAS GA, the only format available is VHS as far as I know, and no PAL only NTSC (the american format) I wish there was a DVD format, but that's ok...
I bought mine at the yahoo store that Amos gave you the link to...
Mine got here fast, I was very thrilled and pleased, especially since he was just phenomenal in it...:)

Thanks!

Someone had told me it was only on DVD maybe I misunderstood ,thanks for the link Amos I saved it I do want to see that It looked very interesting!

PBT was originally sold on the old site....
StevenSeagal.com. That's where I got
mine. It was sold only on VHS then and
as far as I know it still is.
Someone has apparently transferred it
to DVD.
God bless,
Mama san
PS: If you love watching Steven then
you will love this film!
As for the "filmwork", no it may not be
the best but I think they took many, many
tapes from many different people and put
them together. Amateurish perhaps but
I wouldn't trade my PBT for anything!!

SAS,
I mean it is totally awesome! I think everyone would agree, not just use girls, but especially his students and all aikidoka....He is splendid, strong, virle, tough, serious, masculine, and a such a great teacher, too! He is a great man, he is a true master, he is artistic and knowlegable and accomplished, and it shows! This is pure Seagal, the real man, very natural but sooooo POWERFUL and so EXCITING, I can't describe how wonderful it was to see him in action...And no-one can defeat him, because he has such a trained mind, it is so quick, and hands are quick to match! To see the randori is exciting, all I can say is WOW...I was so impressed, and enthralled by him....He is toooo charming...

I don't believe, I want to watch PBT, I want to buy but I can not !! why ? Because it is in NTSC format VHS casette !! It is hard to convert it to VCD. There is not too many places in Istanbul. I have advise onlineshop for a couple of times and they didn't bother to give an answer !!!
He doesn't take seriously those who are living outside (especially to me and my country).!!!
I am very dissapointed for this. :(

Suzi,
his effort was not a big production, also, at the time DVD was not the desired format,
I do not believe there is no DVD because he doesn't care...I believe he is reading, and that he cares about us, I want to believe this...There are so many countries, he is special but only one man...And he is a busy man! Dear Steven we adore you so much! :)

There's no way he can afford time reading our silly posts with his tough schedule movie after movie, event after event. And he means business.Actions speak louder than words. If we want a word from him he'd rather illustrate it in the picture - and that's what we want from him.

His Knowing Mind

Tora: /all...
you'd be suprized what that man knows hes shocked me when I saw him on FDB I told him who I was he smiled and started to tell me some of the things I wrote ABOUT A YEAR EARLIER! He said just cause he doesnt answer back dont mean he didnt see it. That was proof right there..so who knows what he sees? What he remembers may astound you. Not only is he a great MA but he pens music too that takes some knowledge and thought.
My master said like our body the mind can expand too basically its unlimited what we can learn, in the 15th century there was a monk well known for learning 5-6 languages in a time where that wouldnt seem possible ( no media no computers etc) they said howd he do it? when he met people from other countries he would ask what they were saying and learned how to ask for then rare language dictionaries of which he then taught himself.

The name is Zanshin mind immovable determined warrrior spirit that so outlined the very nature of a samauri warrior, it is indeed a weapon to be honed like a musashi sword to take care of your mind, is to respect ones self and makoto (heart/sincereity) for others.

Does he care? surely but maybe like the learned monk he just cant be available but that doesnt mean he doesnt see what we do..yes he is busy but he knows if he neglects his very source of appreciation he damages his own karma point so there would be no need to work hes not going to alienate his fans like that..dont you believe it ..hes never too busy to care..he actually the opposite ..working hard so it is us that should remember why hes doing it so we can continue to appreciate him because hes doing ity for us the karmatic wheel keeps turning

:yin: NAMASTE

He knows

Hey Tora:
He probably does and I can see him grinnin from here, luckily he has a great sense of humor when hes not flipping people to the ground. (just kidding) Ive sen how fast that could happen..see that boy in FDB ? (actor supposed to be the son smartass said "can you hear me now daddy?"He kinda got smart with Steven right before they filmed that and you can see Steven got even with him.

Where they were playing music at the park (Jackson co KY park)m and he was playing guitar with the band , the boy comes up and insults ms sarah and Steven man didnt like that he grabbed him (boy) down to his knees has thumb lock on him (one his favorite moves) boy said youre hurtin me (probably was for real) Steven said "oh really" in a sarcastic tone like tough slightly out of character you could barey hear it in the bg)

Before that was filmed the boy said that Steven was overrated and wasnt that tough and a few minutes later they decided to do that scene and scratch another one he wouldnt have been workingwith him in so Steven heard him and now was going to be working with him immediate to which the boy said "oh hell her heard me too" Stevens got that smug nod his head look like he was waiting for him. and you see what happened

Steven calls it karmatic justic that they just so happened to have to work together after that remark..no hard feelings but I bet jr. learned a lesson in humility. Steven has real good hearing..beware.

That's not all I want from him...:D
But I want what he wants, what will make him happy...
But I hope to god he is reading some of this, sometimes...
And Tora, I'm not being silly, I'm being very serious...
