For Heather, who mentioned how much she likes Pandas, and for anyone else who can't resist this beautiful animal. :)

1) This black and white handout photo from the Smithsonian's National Zoo, shows the zoos female giant panda Mei Xiang bonds with her cub, outlined by a white box, Saturday, July 9, 2005, in Washington. The National Zoo's giant panda Mei Xiang gave birth to a squealing, vigorous cub early Saturday, zoo officials said. The cub likely weighs 3 to 5 ounces and is about the size of a stick of butter.

2) Giant pandas Tian Tian and Mei Xiang eat bamboo leaves at the Washington National Zoo in this January 16, 2002 file photo. Mei Xiang gave birth on Saturday to a giant panda cub, the first for the endangered bears. Mother and cub are doing well, but the first few hours after birth are crucial, said spokeswoman Peper Long. The sex of the cub could not be immediately determined.

3) Mei Xiang,

4) A giant panda lies on ice blocks to cool itself off at a zoo in Fuzhou, capital of southeast China's Fujian Province, Monday, July 4, 2005. The measures have been taken here to help the animals combat the heat wave plaguing the city.

5) A panda takes a bath to cool off at a zoo in Fuzhou, capital of east China's Fujian province, July 3, 2005. The temperature in the city climbed to 37 degrees Celsius (98.6 F). Thundershowers pound flood-hit Guangxi while provinces in the south and east are in the grip of sweltering heat, state media reported Sunday.

For you feline lovers, more big cats in the news. :)

2) White tigers play in a water pond inside their enclosure in a zoo in New Delhi June 23, 2005. India is turning poachers into gamekeepers in a bid to save its dwindling tiger population.

3) White tigers sit inside their enclosure in a zoo in New Delhi June 23, 2005. India is turning poachers into gamekeepers in a bid to save its dwindling tiger population.

4) A rare Bengal white tiger yawns in its enclosure at Singapore Zoo. The struggle to protect Asia's endangered wildlife has enjoyed rare progress over recent years but government inaction means many species are still doomed to extinction, activists meeting last week in Singapore said. June 26, 2005.

great pic, very funny Jules.
It's strange how children can play with animal. They play with them as they were just their best freinds. They do everything with them and most of the time, animals just let them do!!!:)
